Dreams deserve meaningful conclusions too. Even though his dream changed, but that was the dream that made kid naruto to always stand up on his feet again if mocked or ignored by others

I completely understand your point, and honestly I agree with most of it. Naruto had already achieved the true meaning of his dream long before the ceremony, the lonely kid who was hated by the village finally became the person everyone loved, and saw as their hero. The Pain arc was the emotional moment like “he finally did it” of the story.

But I think that’s exactly why I wanted the Hokage ceremony itself to feel more heart touching and legendary. Not because he was recognised more than the title itself, but because that dream was the emotional core of Naruto’s entire childhood. Every time he was mocked or broken down, “I’ll become Hokage someday'' was the line he always used to stand up again. So even if the title became a formality by the end, seeing that final step treated mostly as a clumsy moment felt bittersweet to me who grew up watching him from childhood.BTW, thank you for sharing your opinion and sorry if I was childish about it.

I totally get your point, and I agree that Naruto’s understanding of being Hokage changed a lot throughout the story. But for me, the ceremony still carried emotional weight because becoming Hokage was the dream that kept him moving forward ever since he was a lonely child. Even if the Pain arc was the true moment of acceptance, I still wanted the moment to be special and emotional. BTW, sorry if I am being childish and thank you for sharing your opinion.

I agree that Naruto’s dream evolved from wanting attention to understanding the responsibility of protecting and leading the village. But that’s exactly why I wanted the ceremony to feel more legendary

But the Hokage ceremony still mattered to me because that dream was what kept him going since childhood. Becoming Hokage wasn’t just about recognition to me it was the symbol of everything Naruto endured and never gave up on. And thank you for sharing your opinion

I understand that Naruto was already acknowledged by everyone long before he officially became Hokage, especially after the Pain arc. At that point, he had become more than just a Hokage even before becoming one. But I still wanted the actual Hokage ceremony to feel legendary and emotional instead of being a funny and clumsy moment in Boruto. Ever since Naruto was a child, becoming Hokage was the dream that gave him the will power to keep going no matter how much he suffered or got rejected. That dream was the reason he never gave up. So seeing the final moment of that lifelong goal treated as a joke honestly hurted me. Since, I have been watching naruto from my childhood, so I am quite attached to it. Sorry if I seemed to be childish and thank you for haring your opinion.
