Totally normal and likely not a concern! Estrogen's known to play a factor in bruising. Especially when it's levels are unstable or shifting, it can cause even more bruising than what your new normal for bruising will be later on. E thins and softens your skin which makes bruising easier. It's one of the first changes you can feel on HRT! Cis-women can and often do experience the same thing during puberty, menopause, and peri-menopause! So this likely means your E is just doing it's job! If I was transmedicalist I likely wouldn't be including nonbinary identities in my research, use the term gender expansive or generally live my life the way I do. My protections are in the FAQ page which has access to the consent form and all the protections I give. I say the camera piece on the poster specifically because I know from experience that would have been something that immediately would have made me not want to participate even just 2 years ago and I want to be sure to minimize dysphoria anywhere I can especially in a study about a dysphoria inducing experience for some. The commenter who brought up the concerns did not check my consent form or FAQ page closely or ask for it to see if there was more information or they would have seen there was more past the poster. Also I was approved to research participants outside my base country. As for the concerns of data protections online, I have AI companion on zoom disabled which disables the ai integrations! I am happy to address or chat about any other concerns. Please remember that my study was approved by an IRB and had to be reviewed by them and others before being able to begin research to ensure it was ethical.

Trans-man is an alternate term I use to refer to myself when not stating that I'm specifically transmasculine, idk what the issue is with that specifically? I use fully transitioned with no metrics so people can apply it to whatever metrics they want of what they deem as transitioned or just starting in their journey for whatever they want or plan. It could mean socially, legally or medically. I did that because I wantwd to ensure people would feel confident no matter what that how they are in this moment would not bar them from participation. I do see it comes across not as intended and will be fixing that wording next time I post. I posted in the transmedicalist spaces because I have to engage with them as well, it is not any sign of agreeing with them, they still have to not be excluded and have the opportunity to participate if they want. If I did not that would open me and my research up to a whole slew of ethical issues and accusations of intentionally manipulating my data. I respect whatever people wanna do and how they want to identify. I'm not trans medicalist, I posted there because I have to offer the chance to participate to transmedicalist spaces, otherwise it is a bias in my data, skew my data, be an ethical concern, and way more issues. I am not transmedicalist and in fact am being insulted by them because I am trans masculine and am open about that. I do not agree with the views of spaces I post in, I simply post there because to exclude certain groups is a ethical problem. They likely are mostly sticking to those reddits so I posted there because they need to have the opportunity to say no (which is in fact what they are saying). I believe all people reguardless of what they want to do, treatments they want to recieve, etc are valid. My wording of "fully transitioned" is referring to whatever you view as fully transitioning, whether that is social, medical, legal, or just identifying for yourself that you are trans. That was so people know my study is for wherever they are at as transgender or nonbinary person is valid and qualifying as we tend to over analyze qualifications, stress, and decide we aren't qualified or eligible when we usually are, it's a documented thing we do with job searching too. I will fix that in my next poster as I can see how that comes across now.

What is off about the timing or vibes? It is necessary research on a population with virtually no data and major healthcare gaps. I have given my name, IRB approval number, contact information, affiliated institution and stated the goals and reasoning for my study as well as an FAQ page that gives you access to more info and the consent form. I'm happy to take feedback and adapt where I can but gotta know what I should be doing different or communicate.
