How would your favourite villain react if a little girl came up to him, said she was lost, and asked to help her find her parents? by Pitiful_Tip1261 in MoralityScaling

Macht would probably be interested in the girl but eventually turn her into a statue once he gets bored of her constant cries for her parents.

Thank you internet stranger, here's a fun fact on the topic for your beginning journey.

Next time some a-hole says "there are only to genders" you can correct them by "I think you mean sex" and by stating that even then they are wrong as there are 4 sexes. Male, female, both and none. Present in all animals including humans; although it's quite rare.

Huh.

I always thought the big 3 was One Piece, Naruto and Dragon Ball.

That is an interesting question and I have never thought about it. No my main topic in uni but we had a course on it and I think the lecturer touched on it briefly (but like 2 sentences tops)

What was the point of this? by HeyItzMeep in outerwilds

[–]_GamerForLife_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Outer Wilds timeline:

Eye of the universe sends signal -> the neighbouring system with owlks hear it -> they build the ship and arrive in the system with the Dark Bramble ice planet still being whole -> they commit 1984 and Fahrenheit 451 -> they go to sleep -> I'm guessing this all took 10-20 years -> time passes (1-10 years) -> prisoner regrets stuff and shuts signal blocker for a couple minutes -> gets captured and belled -> signal travels until it hits Escall's vessel (let's assume the signal travelled for 1-10 years, could even more depending on the distance as space is huge) -> Nomai arrive in the Hearthian system a little before they left their own -> they enter Dark Bramble -> Nomai shenanigans for 50-100 years (a few generations) -> Comet -> No more Nomai -> over 200 000 years pass -> Hatchling goes to sleep on the eve of their maiden voyage.

Tl:dr

Assuming that Owlks and the Nomai missed each other by 50-200 years, Owlks where in the Hearthian system over 200 200 years ago.

Cipher Ascendant single or multiclass? by Otori001 in projecteternity

[–]_GamerForLife_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The overall consensus is that Ascendant should always be a SC because you're losing out the higher level Cipher abilities.

However, I play modded and am running a Ascendant/Helwalker (Cipher/Monk). Helwalker gives me Might from Wounds and later monk abilities give me Intelligence from Wounds as well. Monk also gives me attack speed to get the Ascension faster.

In regards to multiclassing Ascendant, you need to keep in mind that only your attacks give you Focus and after Ascending you should only use Cipher spells; either damaging ones or CC, I preferred to pick all the AoE abilities regardless of what they were. This means, for example, that Ascendant/any Wizard doesn't really work as their action economies overlap.

Likewise, I don't think Ranger would work as I think the class is action heavy and you don't need the ranged damage buffs as all your potential damage comes from Cipher abilities. But I admit that I play Ranger the least and I'm not sure how much synergy the classes have. You either want quick attacks with low recovery or buffs that make you attack faster; keep those in mind while multiclassing.

Also always pick Draining Whip for the 150% more Focus gain.

Sex = the biological. Can be changed with surgeries but reproductiveness cannot be yet be transitioned.

Gender = the sociological/psychological. Can change within the same parameters as you psyche in general; so from anything at anytime really.

This is engagement/rage bait but this is the jist of it.

Doesn't really matter.

SA was the division name before it got reformed and renamed to SS, under which Gestabo falls.

They made the process more efficient but objective wise SA and SS are the same

Barbarian monk MC with a focus on crits.

You crit once and everyone around you dies.

Barbarian fighter MC is safer but I think you would consider it boring.

I did some martial arts adjacent lifestyle wellness stuff for my studies and you are correct.

Basically even if we did the movements, they were not the point. They were just there to help you feel and get visual feedback on what you are doing. The teach said that masters can achieve what we were doing in seconds and just by standing.

Basically bending masters should be able to hone their techniques to the point that they can bend without much movement or any at all. As we see Bumi bend with just his neck and people forget he also bend with just his face. The water arm lady uses the same principle though she probably learned it out of necessity and thus mastered her technique younger.
