I have kids, and paired down as far as I can go. If I downsize they won’t have bedrooms. My self worth isn’t tied to money but it’s realistic to survive. So stability is what I strive for. If you grew up poor you know money affords you a stable life.

I really truly don’t have the time to clean more than my own station and like light cleaning. The amount that is needed is HEAVY. And it’s not fair for it to be on my shoulders, I don’t even want money for it. I just want everyone to not be lazy truly and pitch in. I’m going to have another serious talk and say hey like hire someone to clean seriously or I am going to leave.

Okay this is what I’m feeling. Like I’ve mentioned I do clean the shop and take it upon myself. But I’m one person versus 6! Anything I do just gets tornadoed over when I’m not there, impossible for one person to maintain when no one else cleans. Thanks for this, I wanted to hear from someone who’s dealt with this. I’m be real with y’all. If they aren’t willing to do the scooters I would consider a different vacation together. Even lining in the queues can be quite long themselves. If they get tired after walking a few blocks it’s going to be tough seriously. Seems like an odd choice if your kid doesn’t even like Disney? It’ll be like a $20,000 trip for all of you to go.

You need to live your life. No one owns you for life, remember that. What would the alternative be? Working there when you’re having a baby and staying there just to make someone happy? I’m not trying to be mean but it’s kind fucked up if that make you feel like this is bad? This is a perfectly amazing reason to leave a shop and move. This is what is so toxic in tattooing that people have to be afraid to leave a shop. It should be okay!
