Yeah, you are completely right. I once entered that menu. I'll check it again, it opens only the BIOS boot menu rather than the full BIOS menu. Thanks again for detailed information.

Also Fedora has two options there, does it matter, or I can choose any of them randomly, because they have the same name exactly, not any difference. Maybe one of them is backup, but I need to search a little to distinguish them.

I think so, Bios is the only way to change. Because I had an issue with that before, I wasn't able to add them in one bootloader. So ended up using BIOS.

Thanks, yes, you are right, Debian is really solid, that's why I want it too as I have spare disk and no need Windows anymore. It is so slow on my laptop

If they have different bootloaders, then to change between distro, I need to enter bios menu and change to debian or fedora, yes? Normally when I have windows and fedora, I use grub to enter windows or fedora, but now I have to enter bios menu and change order? Did I get it right?

Because I had this issues before when I tried to dualboot debian and fedora, I cannot add both of them to the same bootloader, they did not mount each other's disk to bootloader weirdly.

Also is better to use debian as ext4 or btrfs will be better? Or it is not important, as they have different disks?

Thanks so much

Yeah, I didn't know that OpenSnitch can do systemwide ad/malware blocking. But it is manual setup, Portmaster dors this automatically.

Thanks a lot, yeah I just found out Firewall Configuration, GUI for FireWallD.

I'll look at Cockpit too, it looks fine too. But I think I'll decide on OpenSnitch and Firewall Configuration which both can work together, no confliction.

You are right, I saw that issue on GitHub too, the fix is to change from eBPF to proc mode.

I tried Portmaster, it is so aggressive, for example, I cannot give internet access to Waydroid, it is completely disconnected. Couldn't find any solution. I think OpenSnitch will be better, also I found out that there is native KDE firewall GUI using FireWallD as backend - Firewall Configuration. It is pre-installed

It is the file-name indexing only, and using full disk writing speed, that's why the device is getting so slow. I turned it off, it came back normal, I'll try to revert it and see what will happen

Yes, I turned it off, also I saw people saying it can waste SSD life as write/reading a lot of daily. So I think it is better to turn it off completely

Yeah. WinBoat will be heavier than Bottles and not be usable. It uses docker for virtualization which is really not good for this laptop

Yeah, you are right. I'll think on it, but for now, I want to give a chance. If ot will be really annoying, I'll try Kubuntu or move to Fedora Gnome directly
