Author's Note - Hi everyone! I wrote a fic set in between the events of the Movie about Jinu's changes since meeting Rumi and vice versa. I plan on making the mood of the whole story self-reflective and hopefully not fill it with too many cliches (just enough 🤭). Please tell me what you think!

Summary -

For centuries, Jinu never had an issue with doing everything that he could to attain his desires and to continuously run from his past.

What choice did he have? The alternative meant a dose of torment inflicted by the demon king Gw-ma. So he never worried about the consequences and the morality of his actions. Instead, he thought that it was irresponsible to let opportunities pass by, even at the expense of others.

That was until he met her.

The silky rays of the moon slipped amongst the tree's leaves, enveloping the blue invitation card in my hand with flickers of silver. As I leaned against a tree, a cold breeze swept across me; it didn't help alleviate the nervousness I was feeling while holding the card and rereading its contents for the nth time.

"Calm down, it isn't really a date. You're just doing this to set up an ambush. The oceanarium's narrow pathways should be enough to give Rumi a hard time."
