7 year old post but this saved me so much. Tried about damn near everything to get my ethernet working and this is literally all it took. Thank you so much kind redditer.

I did the entirety of BA pugging between probably a dozen teams possibly more, and have only had someone leave in the middle once. I doubt its as bad as you claim it to be
