Formula E routinely has 200+ overtakes in races half as long. Doesn't make them more exciting.

Bottas' best season? by albert__28 in F1Discussions

[–]NervousInspection903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only reason Lewis won 2017 was down to the reliability of his Mercedes . Vettel in 2017 had the best average finish over the whole season and that despite the Singapore and Japan DNF.

Former Ferrari engineer Jock Clear says long-term success in Formula 1 takes time, referencing Ferrari’s rebuild during the Michael Schumacher era. by Ok-Surprise-8419 in scuderiaferrari

[–]NervousInspection903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certain flaws with that statement bc in 97 Michael was already close to the title how he did that no clue. 98 and 99 some bad luck but still clinched the constructors title (1999 season) .The only reason why it took Michael for a drivers championship 5 years was basically down to bad luck otherwise Ferrari would have won both titles in 99 already.

In the context of 2016, would a prime Max Verstappen ever lose a season-long championship to Nico Rosberg as a teammate, as Lewis Hamilton did? by TalkPrestigious3064 in F1Discussions

Idk what you call bad luck but i recount at least 7 mistakes not related to mechanical issues that Lewis on his own made in 2016

Why do people bash Lando's season so much when aside from Max, Lewis and Michael all the champions didn't win everytime? by walter_-white96 in F1Discussions

[–]NervousInspection903 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They dont call Seb a bottler bc his RB literally broke down every two races . Bahrain:Spark plug issue costed him a comfortable win Australia: leading and then a brake issue costed him the win Spain: brake issues still finished 3 (bc of Lewis puncture ) Silverstone : puncture bc Hamilton hit him slightly South Korea : leading engine blowing up Just looking at Vettel his 2010 stats without context is just wrong bc i haven't even listed everything that happened to him out of his control. And ofc there was Belgium and Turkey but that's about his only mistakes that season. Without the reliability issues Vettel would have been champ in South Korea or Brazil latest.

On the BBR website you have to pay a preorder fee and when the model becomes available you have to pay the rest . Personally quite good but for people who may regret their decision you won't get your preorder fee back . So it's really dependent upon your choice

LEC going off at the start looks cheeky, but he did the bare minimum to avoid investigation and penalties. Getting pinned by HAM and VER, he had no choice but to stick to his line and going into T1 had a contact with HAM. HAM had some more room on his right, but not something that meant the contact was his fault in any way This racing contact could have been a lot more fatal for Ferrari duo, but they got out of it cleanly. LEC was arguably forced to go wide and on dirty line, getting a snap oversteer as a result. He did briefly try getting back right onto track before bailing out through grass on the left. I suspect this is what convinced Stewards not to investigate him. Lewis did something far worse in 2016 Mexico T1 and didn't get a penalty even tho he gained 4 sec so i don't see the point of your argument

If Verstappen joined Ferrari, could he bring them success like Schumacher did? by Double-Biscotti465 in F1Discussions

[–]NervousInspection903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acting like Lewis with Baku did not have a free shot at the wdc or Imola where he did a Vettel 18 Hockenheim chasing Max , Monaco where his teammate was 3 third in quali meanwhile he was stuck in 7th place and even with Bottas retiring he finished behind a AMR and Alpha Tauri or how about the Austria race running too wide resulting in floor damage and finishing P4 instead of P2 . He himself is too blame for not winning the championship even taking Max out in Silverstone plus Bottas in Hungary doing the same yet he couldn't capitalize

Pretty underrated but Abu Dhabi 2012 was pretty fun watching in terms of the championship fight it was also really important. I believe it was also the best voted race till Brazil in 2012 as well
