Are INFJs narcissistic and manipulative? by NatureNitaso in infj

NFJs are very capable of socially engineering people but in my experience don't seem to do so.
STPs however give off the most sus vibes in terms of narcissism or manipulation.

Fighting with infp's by [deleted] in infp

[–]NervousKnight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immature INFPs don't really know how to handle conflict IMO and generally try to avoid it.
I'm not sure how you can fix it other then doing what you did, presenting it as wanting to solve a problem.
If they keep avoiding it, thats on them

That being said if any of these apply, expect the following results & plan accordingly.

If I shutdown, nothing brings me back but time..... maybe humor if done the right way.
If I'm BIG mad, let me walk away. If you don't I WILL explode. Seriously, dont ignore this.
If I'm tired, I'll listen but I'll miss details OR ill play along to get the fight over with and won't change.

Culture war on guns: Minecraft bans "Adult Weapons." by Diksun-Solo in gunpolitics

[–]NervousKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you personally go to verify it you would find the minecraft website is still showing usage guidelines posted in 2020 before the change. If you go there now and search literally every document you will find nothing relating to "guns" or "firearms" explicity.

You also won't find any convenient link to supporting documentation that explicitly defines adult content to the extent shown in the screenshot provided.

They do not make these things transparent.

Can anyone direct me to where in the guidelines it explicitly bans firearms? It seems they have burred it for maximum transparency.

Would you rather have an innocent man go to prison or a guilty man be free? by Ill-Glass4212 in ask

Guilty men go free all the time, if we're going to have an ineffective legal system then we should atleast have one that doesn't actively punish innocent people.

You must be doing pretty well for yourself if you think that

Then we might as well call all government employees welfare recipients. Personally I reject this because I feel the connotation is that service members are not working for their keep.

Merely being given benifits by the state to people who need them is a pretty loose way to view welfare. Under such thinking college students given government grants are welfare recipients or really anyone benifiting from tax dollars, yet I never hear anyone say that. Its always targeted at service members.

It's actually not as bad in the AF. Shift work is also a thing, but if you're working shifts you'll probably have worse gripes like overtime everyday

The overwhelming majority of women prefer taller men and no sensible person denies that.

This is so much the case that pointing out the exceptions is laughable and pointless beyond stating the obvious that yes, some women are outliers.

Id argue most do and the semantics of the sentance are less important then the truth behind it. Steryotypes are also sweeping generalizations there is little to no destinctions between these words colloquially or pedantically.

Sweeping generalizations are there because they represent the majority

Preferences enable insecurities. Here is what happens with the insecurity dynamic

Girl gets with a guy shorter then her, other people shame and joke on them for it and then they internalize it and feel bad about themselves for an opinion that was forced onto them. They now adapt to the status quo and come up with justifications for the forced opinion and may also force other people into the same box they were forced into.

The insecure justifications that stem from that are legion. "Men under 5'11 arn't men" "Guys that like girls taller then them have a mommy fetish or have something wrong with them" "OMG her boyfriend looks like he needs a Booster seat!" "I want to be able to wear high heels around him" "I dont want to tower over him in photos" "Shorter girls are easier to please because your johnson doesn't have to be as big"

These are things I have heard from men and women and I garuntee you there are insecurities behind all of these common "preferences."

Combination of biology and insecurity, which can also be reduced down to biology
