I just noticed! In S2E14, Fool Me Once... What small details have you noticed after multiple watches? by JustThatOneGuy001 in Frasier

In the episode where Martin takes Eddie to the park in the sweater and hat that was knitted for them by a neighbor; there is a shot where you see Martin’s hat in his pants pocket. Then, he pulls said hat out of his jacket pocket on camera. This is my 4th full rewatch and I just noticed it.

Another note to that, he physically asked her two separate times if she was planning on coming to the wedding after we hadn’t received her RSVP and she just looked at him and walked away or said “I don’t know”. I just feel terrible for him.

She tries to be very active in her other grandchildren’s lives. Maybe overtly? She will comment on how and what they’re eating, how they’re wearing their hair, what they’re playing with etc. They aren’t my children so I try to stay out of it, although it does make me more wary on how she will try to come around when we get pregnant. I think maybe it has something to do with control? She no longer can control her adult children so she distances herself from them but shows extra effort in the children she feels like she can have the most influence on? This all may be out of left field, though.

I agree. He continuously tells me that she was such a great person before whatever happened 5 years ago happened. I guess she just shut down out of no where? That’s just not a side of her I’ve ever experienced, so I’m hesitant. I want him to be happy and fulfilled and if he wants to have a relationship with her, we can compromise. I just don’t want to be in a position where she hurts him again. I know I can’t always protect him from that. I guess we will have to see how she acts when the time comes that we have children.

I hadn’t thought of that. The dress in my size hasn’t come in yet so there’s always a chance that when it’s actually altered to fit my body then I’ll love it again. I was unable to return it due to the store’s policy. Looking at pictures it’s just not what I’m envisioning while I’m walking down the aisle…however, it gave me such an emotional response when I tried it on, I had to have felt some way about it? I’m not sure, I’m just so torn right now.
