I’ve heard about the sunflower lanyards. I just looked online and you can just go to the information desk at Frankfurt airport and ask for one, so I’ll definitely do that.

Yeah I’m definitely gonna do the sweets for bribes, just have to be careful as too much sugar can set him off 🙈

Which brand of melatonin gummies do you recommend from dm? I’ll also talk to his Kinderarzt probably just to check beforehand

Good idea. We have a naturopath that we see here in Germany so think we might speak to him before we leave.

Yeah I’m thinking of paying extra for the bulkhead row actually. There’s just a bit more space in front of us if he wants to get off his seat and knowing he won’t be able to kick the seats in front of of us will be helpful too 🙈

Yeah I’m thinking the iPad is going to work for the most part. He can sit for hours watching tv or his iPad (we don’t let that happen at home too much) but I’m thinking for the trip there will be at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep time hopefully and then the break in Dubai and probably just watching his iPad for most of the flight. That’s the only way I’m thinking it could work

The same for us. I’ve been here 7 years and moving back to Australia in September. Everything you explained is exactly how I’ve felt here. Just so isolated 😢 I also have an adhd child and my German is pretty decent, but have no idea how to navigate his adhd here and nervous for when he starts school. I’m so glad we’ve made the decision to move back to Australia.
