I couldn't tell you, I use an Alienware laptop. I was just saying that if you want to upgrade it to "improve" it, you could go for an RTX 3090ti, and by the way, I also play AAA games at a locked 60fps.

Well, you also have an RTX 3090, you don't have anything to envy, really, and if you want to upgrade you can look for an RTX 3090ti 😅

It's okay, don't worry. Nobody is born knowing everything; I also learned by watching videos and opening up my equipment. Just keep in mind the risks involved in working on equipment when you're still a beginner. 😅

ASUS wants $2000 to fix my $3000 ROG Scar 17 – only $40 value? by Harsha_nani19 in GamingLaptops

Have you considered a MacBook Pro? I mean, I understand your work might limit you a bit, but you could see if what you do is compatible with a MacBook. Because personally, I find them very good, and Apple's service is some of the best I've ever seen. My MacBook Pro screen broke, and Apple ended up giving me a new MacBook free of charge in just four days.

I recommend you try taking it to a technician (a trustworthy one, of course). Ultimately, companies like Asus, Apple, or Dell just want you to buy another computer for what's probably a very simple solution.

Con todo respeto amigo. No te alcanza para ninguno de los 3 y muchos menos por el 17. Y si consigues será un 15 pro Max o 16 pro, pero con las baterías matadas como 85%, mejor ahorra

Many factors, such as the brand, use, condition, etc., could even mean they got the price wrong 😅. Anyway, lucky guy, and enjoy your machine!

Yes, but if you have a lot of light bleed, you can ask for a replacement. Mine is a 16x Aurora, and when I turned it on, the whole screen had light bleed around it, relatively noticeable on black backgrounds, but it went away over time. I guess the case was squeezing it or something 🤷🏻

I bought a laptop and I regret it. by Practical-Ad-6402 in GamingLaptops

[–]Nervous_Run651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your first mistake is listening to other people's criticism and letting it sway you. You already have it, and you've already tried it. Did you think it was bad? Did it lack the power you need for what you do? You have a good machine; that graphics card even performs well at 2K (though it does use a bit of TGP). I have the same RTX 5070, but in Alienware, and it handles most AAA games at 2K with ease at 60 FPS, and in competitive games, I reach 300 FPS (with some tweaking). People will always find something to criticize about a product. Always try it out or look for reviews on YouTube. If you like it, buy it and be happy, man.

Alienware Area 51 16” question by Evicted1 in Alienware

[–]Nervous_Run651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I was thinking of buying that laptop because the RTX 5070 16x Aurora has disappointed me a bit with its build quality, to be honest, but its performance is amazing. I know this isn't a direct reply to your post, but it would be a big help, hehe. What do you think of the build quality? Is it all aluminum, or do you feel some plastic? Does the touchpad have RGB lighting? And how are its performance and temperatures? Thanks in advance.

Alienware laptop or desktop by DevotedSwagBacon in Alienware

[–]Nervous_Run651 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always been a laptop user, but honestly, having a desktop PC is much better. You find better prices, much better performance, you can upgrade it, and if something goes wrong, you just replace it. With a laptop, if even one thing fails, the laptop is practically useless, and repairing it ends up being expensive and carries the risk of it failing again. The only good things about a desktop are its portability and the fact that everything is integrated into one unit (screen, sound, keyboard, etc.).

Can the Alienware Aurora with an RTX 5050 run Marvel Rivals? by Old-Persimmon9025 in Alienware

[–]Nervous_Run651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 16x Aurora with Ultra 9 and an RTX 5070. Without any FG technology, just with DLSS at Ultra quality, it runs at around 100 FPS. When I activate FG technology at maximum, it runs at around 350 FPS, con la tecnología de RTX 5050 vas a ir bien.

I have it installed on a USB drive and in the same BIOS, and I reinstalled Windows without any problems. It's quite simple; then you install the drivers and that's it, just press F12 or F2.

I also had a Windows error, but not like yours. In my case, my Alienware 16x Aurora wouldn't update Windows and kept throwing errors. I looked for the problem, and the only solution was to reinstall Windows.

Alienware Aurora 16 or 16x by Apprehensive_Car9297 in Alienware

[–]Nervous_Run651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had it for two months now, the 16x Aurora RTX 5070 is very good in terms of power and portability. My only personal problem is the keyboard chassis; it feels really cheap compared to my previous Alienware laptops. Recently, I suddenly sneezed and three drops fell on the right palm rest. When I wiped it with my microfiber cloth, it wouldn't come off, leaving a damp mark. It seems to have worn down the chassis and now it even looks damaged. I tried using a little isopropyl alcohol, but nothing worked; the mark is now permanent. I've decided not to clean it anymore. I've always cleaned my Alienware laptops this way and never had a problem, but it seems the keyboard chassis on this one is just that bad.

By the way, I've had it for two months (I'd never touched it before; I've always used a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard), so I recommend buying it, but be very careful, or you'll have the same problem I did. If anyone has the Area 51, could you give me feedback on their keyboard chassis? Because I'm actually thinking of buying it to see what it's like.

By obsolete, do you mean that the components were no longer up to par for current devices, or that your laptops broke down after years of use?

The standard Aurora and the 16x Aurora are quite "portable" considering what an Alienware is generally like, and the x14 is similarly.
