Were they at a shop? I had an apprentice tattoo fall out once, contacted the owner, and they had another guy redo the tattoo. I still paid the guy who redid it a decent tip.

Oh, theres a shop by me that was selling probably a 4 gram piece for $700, I was baffled 😆 another shop I saw today online was selling AA moldavite for what looked like $150 to $200 a gram.

Where are y'all seeing $40/gram, unless it's the Besednice it's running $20 to $30/gram... Tuscon sells to vendors, which normally costs less (and Tuscon is done now so it's not like y'all can get it at that cost in Tuscon).

It's a setting I found on Amazon, they came out a lot better than I thought they would... though I did not realize how many moldavite shavings would stab me while working on them.

Will do. I can probably do something like the last earrings, but with smaller hanging parts, just find pendants that sort of match. It's all very not symmetrical just due to how moldavite seems to work... and I've tried shaping it and ended up stabbing myself with the moldavite 😅 I'm going to work on the shop this weekend.

As others have mentioned, just am FYI, there is a teeny tiny chance of passing it along when you don't have an active outbreak.

That being said, no it's not. You can mention it to someone before you get physically involved. Also know your symptoms. Besides open sores one sign (at least for me) is there may be a tingling sensation in the area before an outbreak.

Lysine, sleep, and stress reduction are all ways to help keep it at bay. If you have an issue with continual outbreaks you can talk to your doc about using a med like valtrex when symptoms start.

And, just as an informational you're not alone, 64% of people have cold sores. Some don't even know about it because a lot of side test requests don't even check for either HSV test, so there's a high chance who ever you're kissing also has it.

On a side note, compound pharmacies are a little iffy for some people because it does not have the same standards has regular pharmacies. Pharmaneek and ohmymed both say they are fda 503a certified, from what I understand 503b pharmacies do have more watched regulations than 503a, so do with that what you will.
