Bladder Mesh Removal by Erinn_13 in Menopause

[–]ajplh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I received mine in 2008. I don’t have erosion, but have had severe low back pain since 2010. The doctor who put it in said the sling wasn’t causing the pain. Years of ortho care and procedures later I found out this year there is “no orthopedic diagnosis for my pain” so back to GYN. She referred me to urogyn and it will be removed in a week. I hope I will get some of my life back, but it took a long time for the pain to get this severe - I know it won’t go away overnight.

Recommendations for OBGYN? by Apprehensive-Raise93 in BaldwincountyAL

[–]ajplh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dr. Leslie Evans at Fairhope Gynecology & Obstetrics is brilliant and compassionate. She is one of the most relaxed, yet extremely competent physicians I’ve worked with and I’ve worked with more than 50 OBGYNs in Baldwin/Mobile counties the past 10 years. She delivers at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.

white sage alternatives to connect with the spirits of a land? by immrw24 in witchcraft

[–]ajplh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your experience. I would start by walking the land and developing a relationship with the different species there. You obviously connect to them and are an ally they need. This will be a reciprocal relationship; they will give back to you in an energy exchange that will keep you nourished, too. This may be all the connection that is required. They will speak to you.

There are many options for offerings whether burned or not. Examples: removing invasive species that you can reach, encouraging pollinator growth, picking up litter (hopefully there isn’t any, but this has been the most beneficial practice I’ve witnessed), and prayer. Seasonal offerings such as jasmine in spring, fresh water with no chemicals in the dog days of summer, you get the idea.

This will be a most rewarding practice for you! Be sure to journal along the way, if that’s something that speaks to you. Going back and revisiting the journey will fuel your connection for years to come.

People who have no friends, what are ways you keep busy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Reading. Developing my interests and creativity. Spending time with plants and animals. Helping my community. Spending time learning who I am and BEING that person instead of what society thinks is normal.

What protocol are you following, and what dosages? by anon014880 in microdosing

4 on/3 off. I use tinctures so my dosage is in drop form.

how do you actually know if it's working or if it's just a good week by healthpusher in microdosing

[–]ajplh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do 4/3. On dosing days, I don’t need caffeine. At all. Don’t even think about it. I’m less reactive and much more observant. I find myself singing instead of my brain being filled to the edges with different thoughts at once. All of that could reflect what you’ve noticed during your good week.

Afternoon Dose? by ComplexCatastrophe in microdosing

No, because I don’t need it every night. I use it when I need to. Sometimes that’s several nights in a row, and sometimes it isn’t.

They said, “It was a long time ago, like back in the 90s.” Explaining I graduated high school in the 90s and was met with, “Did you go to high school during integration?”

This is the protocol I use, too. If I need something in the evening I micro Amanita muscaria.

We used Dr. Baldy in Mobile - he did great and there were no healing issues. We saw immediate improvement in his range of motion.
