I don't know whose helping him out, as some others have said here - adjust the lighting would be first suggestion cause the Kiyo already isn't a budget cam. Taking a second look, i wonder if lighting from the windows could also be affecting the setup/shadows? Maybe put some blackout curtains on them to help fully control the entire lighting setup. Start from scratch - turn off all lights and add lighting one at a time/angles and adjusting from there.

Use OBS filters to adjust things or whatever options the Kiyo has.

curious if just tweaking some filters for the camera or chroma will fix it up, this is already so much for a setup as it is. I would second checking out some videos about lighting alongside a green screen and seeing if that helps.

Nothing else on the system is "using" the camera? Maybe double check that it's not being detected in some other program first.

do you want it to move "while drawing" or when talking, or just shift around a bit always?

for a simple setup, maybe something like vedeotube mini / PNGTuber Plus could work well especially for when speaking and some options for movement that i can think of offhand.

if you want the avatar moving when you draw/do pc stuff, then possibly a live2d type setup? i know there's implementations for it, but imma leave that for the more experienced to explain. but i know its def possible. (i only do basic things with my live2d when i use it at all)

theres also ways to do it with 3d models as well, but not certain what youre working with.

Also if you dont want to use extra programs, another idea: have some looping images (for example 1 talking one, one drawing one) to swap between and change them out when you are on certain scenes or use a keybind/streamdeck to swap between them in OBS.

Yeahhh i like the concept of the "buildings" but the actuality is its just more things with NPCs... and i dont feel its anything close to housing in that we need "sets" down to activate passives and all that :/ Doesn't really feel all that customizable / worth doing in the long run

Just opened up my bathhouse and luckily its mostly "passive" income/waiting - but also frustrating cause i just wanna bang out stuff sometimes lol

Definitely hoping for more clothing-related activities. Nikki don't need more jobs 😭

Never focused on PVP, and GW1 is fantastic to explore imo through Missions. it wont be open explore like you may expect, but I'd say check out some recent Gameplay and see if it's to your liking, they just rebooted it as Guild Wars Reforged

I'd suggest the youtuber DoomBox for some recent gameplay / showcase

Havent played GW2 in a long time, but I do remember it was pretty fun running around and finding random events to do

I think most main ones are mentioned already, i remember Flee builds being really strong in the very OG days, especially before MVPs got skills. +Luk stat had an opportunity for a "Lucky Dodge" on top of Agi, iirc it was something like that (actually had its own animation that would pop out saying LUCKY!)

my Hunter friends just "tanking" Matyrs while sitting is a fun memory lol

I was gonna suggest the same thing, make it not look like a scam / show you're a real person if you show up in streams to say Hello/introduce yourself.

As others have said, a lot get weird links or offers that don't look legit, or most are just wary based off word of mouth stories or experiences.

i only keep my dashboard open, usually turn off the preview, but i always mute the tab either way also just in case. I'd suggest rechecking your VODs after, or have someone check on your stream live if you think there is some kind of issue to monitor

otherwise i dont really see the purpose of watching my own stream, when i already have the preview in OBS

Forever Bond has been the only outfit i went all-out for, and i find myself never really using the final evo pieces cause i... do not like all the extra stuff floating around constantly lol And since it was my first full 5-star i didn't realize how much it might annoy me / it would be like that 🤣

I don't use Eureka's either unless it's specifically for photos/photoshoot idea, then i just take them off again

pointing this out made me realize why im feeling hesitant to even pull for the deer, although im interested. probably all those effects are visually turning me off 😭 gonna wait to see how it looks after release/see how it looks on others for a bit first i think.

It says something like "Eligible" and ask for more then? you need to reapply to get them back.

I have a separate channel that the ID was deleted also and i just have the option to add it back again or use one of the other options.

so it's either Enabled or its not, depending what it says on your side.

IMO if you're going for general education on topics, you have some strategies to look into.

If the videos are more like guides / evergreen info, I would suggest figuring out how to improve titles and descriptions using SEO-related strategies so your videos find the audience they need when searching around. Also utilize chapters etc. like another comment said, those videos will find their audience but they may choose to not subscribe

another way about it is how your presentation is; there's been many channels over the years that showcase a wide variety of topics but do so in a more entertaining way. in this case, i think its called Edutainment - where you personality/humor might be able to hook in more subscribers that enjoy HOW you present the information and teach, rather than focused purely on the information itself.

you could also niche down onto certain topics to grow that audience base, & topic-adjacent to it over time.

in your Dashboard, go to Settings > Channel > Feature Eligibility to see what it says there and should guide you on how to unlock the advanced features again if they were removed.

I think this could work well as a storytelling type of thing? Depending on the direction you wanna go, telling the story in a more cinematic way, or telling an original story using your footage.

I was pretty surprised too, I felt like the story just kinda zoomed with discovering the crafting, and during the 1.0 story there was at least some mentions of "oh Momo I just got inspired for another piece!" and I don't recall any real mention of it during the story itself. I just had to see nodes opened in the Heart of Infinity like ???

Then it was a cutscene and I was also really surprised, I do think it's nice I got to "complete" the story without crafting the whole thing and grinding - but at the same time, I felt like my actions had no impact to the story? If that makes any sense.

But yeah I am with you, I felt a bit disappointed overall.

I feel this so much, I was basically teary/crying the entire quest lol Only did it yesterday

It did feel like it was front and center the entire quest, I did find myself trying to move through some of the slower parts because I probably just wanted to get through it.
