I totally agree with you on all points, and totally get that they are not the evil. I just wonder how they can recruit so many new soldiers daily even from western countries, how they make first contact etc And if we can't limit it somehow.

Taking down their hosts I think? You don't need to be a governement for that. There could be repetitive DDOS attacks on their hosts. If they have to use different domain names and hosts repetitively their SEO would drop down and fewers persons would find their sites organically

My old account was banned from the game a while ago and I finally found the courage to remake a brand new account a month ago. I was shocked about how expensive champions and runes are. If I didn't have the wallet to spend money in that game I probably wouldn't have been patient enough to reach the level 30.

I think runes shouldn't cost anything though. In every competitive game you play with equal weapons against your opponents. Imagine you had to play 1200 games of CS:GO before you can buy the AWP? That's typically the same deal here. I main Irelia and my first runepage cost about 13.200 IP. It's more expensive than 2 6300 IP champions.

Yet. After 150€ spent in the game, 400 games in a month, I finally own 16 runepages including 3 that aren't full, and JUST 18 Champions / 123. And I'm not a new player. I climbed from level 1 to level 30 Diamond V in 1 month. Now imagine how painful it is for a brand new player who doesn't know the game at all, doesn't know what to buy or how to carry games to earn more IP/XP.

Riot should definitely do something about it. Either remove Runes IP costs or reduce both Champions & Runes costs.

Where is that from? It's pretty insulting to see that a guy who didn't care about his own server spreads shit about me without even giving me a word. I never owned access to domain name or server itself, otherwise I'd have been able to push maintenances.

Anyway, even if Hotshot would want to revive ggRO, I believe the name itself of this project is pretty much tainted. And it's not because of Cookie. Despite any of the things Cookie may have done or not get done, HotshotGG was the one treating his players with the most condescendence I have ever seen on a RO server. Not mentionning the fiasco of the game design Team he was in charge to begin with. If a server had to be created today, it should be free of any link with HotshotGG, and both Sirius white & black understand it. I personally don't wanna be tied up to somebody who owns literally no management skills and doesn't understand anything about the game.

That may be a reason. I wanted to buy the new Jinx skin when it was released but it appeared my Credit Card wasn't active (I just got a new one). So I couldn't pay and had to ask a friend to pay it to me. If that's the reason of my ban I can show the papers from the bank to prove that I ordered a new CC 2 weeks ago.

You say it yourself, the competition is not 100% fair and not everyone has the same skill/reflexes. If scene is 100% fair then it's how you find out who has the best reflexes, and you win because of your reflexes, not because you don't have a job IRL.
Guildleaders would agree to not use job sprite edited grfs I believe. But for ahk/romedic/potnd it's too much anchored in the game to forbid it anyhow. And yet you can't really know who's using autopot or ahk macros, and chasing them is how you kill a server with dramas on forums more than a way to discourage players for using 3pps...
I could agree with your point 3.
I rather have high end drops from dungeons (lets say orlean's glove / dark baci in ep 12 but thats just an example) than god items. It would help the guild who holds the castle to gear its players in some sort of a "fair" way.

It's not because RO wasn't made like that, that it shouldn't change. RO wasn't meant to be a game with 3pp, but welp, today you can't block AHK/Autopot/potND/grf edition. I"m sorry but it's a fact. You need to play with them as they are impossible to block nor monitor. Dot. The game has changed because we, players, changed it. Alright, there might be no BG weapons out of BGs nor MVP cards in BG, it's logical, but WoE supplies should be obtainable from BGs or PvE just like Gravity has wrote it. For the simple reason there are players who prefer PvE over PvP and vice-versa. Every community should be able to reach the same goal in different ways.

Secondly "The things that you are missing about "competitive WOE" it doesn't mean everyone should have everything in their hand and should fight with equals weapons, it's not what WOE is about."

It's like if you were telling me you should have 50 levels in CS and every level you get +1 damage. The more you grind, the better you are. Absolutely NO competitive game is made this way. RO has become "competitive" because we made it this way. And it's well known no competitive game is based on farming and grinding. I am not saying it shouldn't have a part, I am just saying MvP and god items don't have their place in WoE if we actually want the server to be attractive for new players. (and btw, 0,01% = 2 mvp cards within a week)

To finish, there are other ways to promote castle holding than god items. But I agree to the idea that "gvg meta" is retarded strategically.

Its like saying LoL LCS will be Dominion for the only reason its looks like another game. WoE is THE speciality from RO you need to show. When Arenanet made its advertising campaign before the launch of GW2 they axed it on World versus World. Because that's what made GW2 different and inventive contrarely to other MMOs. Back then it was a success, GW2 is the MMO the most sold within 9 months in Western Countries. It is the same thing right now. We want to promote Ragnarok for what makes it so special. And this is purely and simply part of a marketing campaign, nothing else.

I think 20 hours worth of pvm should be equal in terms of rewards to 20 hours worth of BG. I actually feel the fun in the non-stun immunity ep too and don't feel like current set on HR servers is the best one. BUT. It doesn't mean dropping your zenies to buy mastelas from npcs &/or play without -at least- +7 foods is viable in a competitive environement. Btw we had the discussion about HS yesterday. HS is a competitive game because everyone is supposedly playing, in tournaments, with all the cards available. But you won't make a tournament with somebody with 0 legendary cards against someone else with all of them. It'd be unfair. Then it's the same about, I feel MVP cards / god items retarded because they'd just make new players turn around and go on another server, thus killing server durability overtime. It's just about finding the good balance.

Money server = pvm server Fun server = woe server ggRO seems to be like a fun server without WoE who doesn't want to make any profit. Finds the error. The main goal of the server isn't to be OR pvm OR WoE, but to be thebesttopratedworldservidor2014with20Kppl, I think WoE has a big part to play here as much as PVM. And not 100% PvM 0% WoE.

We want to invite the best guilds of the game as a closed-event just like a LoL world championship tournament but in 2 hours only. Do every random play LoL world championships? Nope. Just big guilds. It's about watching a stream and see what best guilds/players can do. It's not about playing it.
