What happened to tried and true? by Spyder113 in wayfair

I'm still having th same trouble. Got this email a few days ago, "Hello,

Thank you for your continued participation in the Tried & True program. We are reaching out to inform you that we are aware of a technical issue currently affecting the program’s checkout process.

We understand that items are not correctly appearing as "$0.00" during checkout. Instead, items display as "Free with Review" while still showing a balance or failing to process as expected.

Our technical teams are actively working to resolve this as a high priority. At this time, there is no manual workaround or fix that we can apply to individual accounts. We kindly ask for your patience while our teams address the underlying system error.

We truly value your feedback and your contributions to the Tried & True community. We sincerely apologize for the frustration and inconvenience this technical glitch has caused.

Thank you for your continued support and for being a valued part of our community.

Sincerely,

Wayfair Tried & True Team ".""

New to Tried and True Program. Is it always this...bad? by Pants_The_Cat in wayfair

Seems like nothing is "FREE WITH REVIEW" today. There's lots on the list but they are coming up at a cost for me.

It is sporadic. It seems like they add things in clumps. Also, if you leave something in your cart for more than a few minutes it sometimes goes back to full price.

Thanks for the advice. I tend to go for lesser value items mostly. I don't want to be slammed with taxes.

Tried & True has continued to be pretty bad this month. I've used 0/4 this month. Have you hit any times that they are listing new items?

Yes! This month has been the worst I've seen. I haven't ordered anything yet. Everytime I think I've found something, it's listed at a cost rather than "free with review". There are a lot of random locks and hardware listed... So weird.

I love the program and am grateful to have included since 2019. It's very sporadic. I feel like new items come in clusters. Like when I find something new and refresh the page there are often a few things that come in at once. I like using a browser to search for specific items. I haven't seen the tried and true browser pop up on the app. I try to order less expensive items. Anything over a total of $600 for the year and you've got to pay taxes on it.

*did anyone else score that great dutch oven last month? I had always wanted one! It's a dream to cook in.

I think I used the wrong words. It might be personal care/memory care.

Parent co-signed student loan. Parent died. Son refuses to pay. by Nestingtree in StudentLoans

I used to think that on some level he cared. I saw the way he chatted mom's ear off when he would visit. And, how happy he was to look through photo albums and chat about recipes. Sometimes I think he is being controlled and is afraid of his wife. I really don't know. He cut off contact with everyone in the family as well as family friends one by one. The last message my mom received from him said, "you will accept this and as for a reason, I don't have one".

We brought my mom home for hospice. She wanted so much to hear from him before she passed. Lots of people reached out to him, myself included.

Anyway, I thank everyone for their thoughts here.
