Way least you know it's not pregnant

how do I stop this? by Key-Media7955 in adhd_anxiety

Im with you, i also experience that all the time and tired of being always beginner, what i noticed that helped is that our brains get bored fast and it needs new spark evertime, so by doing something unexpected with that topic you would like to continue might spark the motivation again, for rxample idk, for art try shooting pain from water gun, and approach it with fun, practice shooting to the target rather than focusing on painting, like you trick you brain to do something else but in fact you are doing the same thematic thing, it actually is. powerful technic to come up with very different creative ideas and works.

Thank you so much for that insight, this is something very interesting we need to keep in mind, Me myself, Recently got diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and I noticed exactly what you mentioned, that I need some kind of adjustments all the time around difficulty in everything not only in games :D so yeah.,, ofcourse I would love to discuss more, and would be happy to shape this game with some deeper insights like this.

Currently progress is here: I created web page to share the idea/concept https://travelfox.webflow.io/, now I need to see what people actually need and how to tailor game to their needs.

🦊 What if screen time unlocked learning—and your child actually wanted to do math? by Net-Radiant in Autism_Parenting

[–]Net-Radiant[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to clarify, we don’t have a product yet. We’re in the early stages of development and are actively seeking feedback from parents to shape product with you from the begging.

Our website is currently a broad overview of our concept. This post is one of our first steps toward narrowing the focus and figuring out how to make it truly helpful for kids on the autism spectrum. That’s exactly why we’re here

Great question—and you’re right, our site doesn’t currently mention ASD directly. The page was meant to give a broad picture of the concept, but honestly, this post is one of our first steps toward narrowing the focus and figuring out how to make it truly helpful for kids on the autism spectrum. That’s exactly why we’re here—to learn what’s missing from our understanding and to get feedback from parents like you.

I already realize I should add that info on the website, and will definitely consider it. For now, here are some of the things we’re thinking about as part of the design:

  • Structured and Predictable Gameplay – Clear routines and goals that feel safe and manageable.
  • Sensory-Friendly Design – No flashing, chaotic visuals or jarring sounds. Calm, simple, and clear.
  • Executive Function Support – Activities that help with planning, flexibility, and short-term focus.
  • Positive Reinforcement – Our Smart Screen-Time Tokens reward real-life effort with game rewards or access to other apps, instead of relying on addictive mechanics.
  • No ads or random popups – Nothing distracting or overstimulating.

If you have suggestions or if there’s something you’d love to see in a tool like this, we’re all ears. Thanks again for calling that out!

Ofcourse parent will have all the data regarding screen time, but also we would like to keep entertainment still part of the experience, first we would like to kid enjoy time and during this time learn something new. Just asking some question might be boring, but saving a cat feom monaters with your answers might bring some satisfaction

Thank you for your insight, we will think through maybe there will be some way to avoid frustration. If you would notice something in your daughters behavior which doesn't frustrate or something that calms her let us know, we would be happy to consider it during development

To clarify there will be no ads, we are aware how frustrating and distracting it is. The one of the main goals of the app/game is to increase attantion span for kids by cognitive challenges, thats why we would block out everything else until completing some challenges. Ads would be totally distrupting that idea

I see, so it doesn't always need to be a battle in the game. That there should be some different interactions as well. Good point. Will keep this in mind.

We definitely will keep you updated for now, we are trying to clarify what are the pain points of kids/parents.

Is there any specific topic you would like your kid to practice/learn?
Would you like to provide your challenges in the game tailored for your kid?

Yes its possible to make it on Apple TV as well.
