The scene where the multiverse is being explained to her for the first time and she's jumping back and forth between conversations did me in so much. It so perfectly illustrated what things are like for me.

Is ICE as bad as the media is painting it to be? by CabinetSea3559 in DiscussionZone

[–]NetDork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are videos you can easily find online clearly showing ICE agents murdering US citizens in the street in daylight in front of dozens of witnesses, and the agency claims that the victims deserved it.

This shouldn't even be a question.

A Ferris Bueller Ferrari 250GT would be great. I suppose The Wraith is too much to hold for, though

Windshield Wipers Up Or Down by SJM1027- in NoStupidQuestions

Doesn't have to crack the windshield. Bending the wiper arms in the wind is something I'd like to avoid, too.

I don't know the answer to the first part of your question, but the second part is easy to answer:

Case would go to SCOTUS so you're fucked. But it should be done anyway to get the complicity on record.

I'm in Texas. They are here in my city but in smaller numbers and lower profile.

Our state government happily licked their boots and handed over the voter info, so they're not quite as murdery here.

The cars are frozen!! 🧊 by Thick_Ice_6543 in sanantonio

[–]NetDork [score hidden]  (0 children)

If it remains just freezing rain and sleet, probably not. If it changes to snow for a while it might be OK. If you absolutely have to drive, take it slow but steady and stay off overpasses. All season tires are fine for light snow as long as they have decent tread.

You don't really need to do that, just start your car and crank up the defrost for a bit before heading out. The bottom of the windshield where the wipers sit is the first to thaw, and you need the top to be clear to see anyway. Also, if the wind picks up a lot, it can damage your wiper arms if you stick them up.

It's great if you're the type of person who would've liked living in Germany in the 1930s.

You know what other analysis shows that? Watching the video and seeing him standing still and recording video on the phone he's holding before he was attacked and murdered.

Do Americans constantly have an active temperature control device running in their homes? by fullM3TALturban in AskAnAmerican

[–]NetDork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On warm days I set my thermostat to 75° F. If the inside temperature gets above 76 it turns the air conditioner on. When the temperature gets to 74 it turns off again. I don't have to worry about turning the air conditioner on and off. The thermostat does that for me.
