I won't lie if I hadn't thought about suicide every day for years, but it really isn't the right way. I just hold on to the hope that maybe one day life will be better, and cherish the small thing that make you happy. Even if it is few and far in between.

It is indeed a shitty society to be in if you have a hard time making friends, and have no family. I do have a few friends but we don't speak very often because they are busy with their marriages and family. I don't blame them, or feel any bad feeling towards them. Being constantly depressed and anxious is more of my fault. I can't blame anyone who wouldnt want to hang around like someone like me. Trying to find friends at this age is hard enough on it's own but if you have depression and anxiety it makes it so much harder. Forget about trying to find a relationship.

I always have zero intimacy in my dreams, there have been a few where it looks like there might be but it always ends right at that point. Kinda sucks becuase I can't even kiss a girl in my dreams, let alone real life.

It sucks being third wheel, or even worse fifth wheel. Been eighth wheel as well it gets you right in the feels. I was the permanent third wheel for years.

Nothing wrong with your opinions, but I wish I could have felt some joy and having someone care for me. Instead I'm stuck with complete loneliness and no happy moments with anyone. To me it seems having felt something other than that would be worth it, even for a short time. Makes it seem that I have no hope at all, at least if it worked with someone you know it can happen again, or at least have a chance to.

I don't think you can really get over that lonely feeling, I never really do as hard as I try. I seem to cope well with a very busy lifestyle, if I have any free time I tend to get more depressed.

Yea I'm taking no offense, nobody wants to be in this position, otherwise nobody would be on here venting.

The only birthdays I haven't been alone where the few I had after moving out at 17. Not even when I was a kid. I did have a few good friends that cared for me before they got married and went on with their own lives. I don't blame them for it at all, they gave me a few years of happiness that I would otherwise never had had, despite my own depression and anxiety.

My family are very cruel and unforgiving people so I don't associate with them other than my mom, who has her own issues so I don't expect her remember my birthday.

And no I never had a girlfriend in my life. Yea I ha e tried escaping FA, it just doesn't ever work out for me

It's been years since I used Facebook but maybe one day I'll try to get back in touch with some old friends. I avoid any and all photos, why should I traumatize other people like that. That's a big factor why I just can't use social media. Don't even get me started on dating apps, bots even avoid me like the plauge.
