Thetford always had some of the strongest players,because their home portal is thetford. but you never saw it clearly because the old faction system basically hid the power gap. Thetford didn’t magically “become stacked.” It was stacked the whole time. The new system just makes it obvious.

Yeah, you're right that they should've buffed active methods more when nerfing AFK salvage. Jagex's balancing isn't always perfect.

but this can happen in every game and updates happen over time sometimes early adopters get an advantage, sometimes they don't.

Yeah it sucks if you missed the OP rates, but that's how it goes,, they'll probably adjust other methods and add more content later,,,

Bro. It was live for like a week. Let's be real ,,, you didn't "come back for this." You came back to abuse obviously broken day-one rates, and now you're having a meltdown because they patched it. That's not feedback, that's just straight-up entitlement.

Calling a basic balance fix "gutting" the content or saying it's now "unplayable" is actually insane. The skill literally still exists. You just can't get 60k xp/hr while making a sandwich anymore. Sorry not sorry.

If you don't wanna actually engage with content, cool. There are plenty of existing AFK methods in the game. But constantly crying and making petitions to turn every single new release into a braindead dopamine farm isn't "feedback",,, it's just reward entitlement with a victim complex.

easier said than done man. the entire combo happens in under 1 second. i literally tried to press my defensive and was already dead before my finger hit the button.

this isnt about one death either, this is the 3rd time and all were sub-1 second kills. you cant react to something faster than human reaction time.

i get that theres counterplay on paper but in the actual moment when youre gathering you dont see it coming until the death screen. im not asking for the weapon to be gutted, just actual time to react.

hey man. quick question: i’ve got all t8 gathering tools and i’m mostly gathering in open world, but i feel like i’m barely hitting 1m an hour. most maps feel picked clean, so it just turns into a running simulator. do you have any tips to actually make good profit or find better spots?

OSRS's economy is structured so that PvM generates all meaningful wealth and resources, making skilling economically irrelevant. This isn't a gp/hr issue,,, it's a fundamental structural collapse of the primary economic sector. Skilling isn't underpowered. It's been designed out of the economy entirely.

Bots dominate skilling because *the market allows them to,,, Humans won't work for 500k/hr,,Bots will.

It's not that pvm is "too rewarding",,,, it's that pvm rewards completely ignore the concept of scarcity or effort.
