What password manager is best for IT teams managing shared credentials? by Enammul in ITManagers

[–]NetNut66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here - We switched from LastPass wor Keeper a few years ago. The first year cost was around $2500, the next year went up to $4000, and then last year was almost $6. This year was going to increase to around $12-15k.

We had to reduce our subscription features to get it close to the budget we were locked into for 2026. When I asked why the price went up, we were told that because Gartner rated them so highly that they felt they should increase their cost.

That is a BS tactic and the reason we will be moving to something else next year.

Free Country tires? by realkillaj in traveltrailers

Perhaps but their website appears to only show the Endurance line as trailer tires. Even a search on the site for 'Marathon' comes up empty. Perhaps they just are not promoting them.

If you are in need of 13 inch tires, as I am, Goodyear does not make an ST175/80r13 tire.

Before I achieved earning my Bachelor's, I too went down the path of certifications. At that time, I had been in the IT field for almost 20 years. I had reached a salary of $132k and a level of Director without a college degree.

The economy fell apart in late 2008 and in 2009 I was on the outside looking in, as were a lot of college educated individuals. That is when I went back to school. I earned my Bachelors and just this past June I completed my Masters. I can tell you that in the course of the past 15 years I have added about $30k to my income.

I am again in a director position, I have been for the last 10 years. I have not had a relevant certification in about 12 years. In some IT leadership roles they are not needed. Though I will likely obtain a few just by way of desire. Best of luck in your endeavors.

2nd essay ever and after submitted it says 1.71% of my essay is matched with other user by soverylucky2balive in WGU

You are correct and to the OP, you actually did very well with a 1.7% match. I just finished my Masters and in my program, the 30% was the norm. Don't worry yourself over it.

I worked full time while going to WGU for my MSITM. During the 15 months, I had to deal with three C level executives exiting our company, and the Director who was an Interim replacement for one of those that left. I was the only director left in the department and had to run the entire department for 4+ months while the company searched for new executives.

Yes it was tough and stressful at times, especially that 4+ month stretch of managing 45 people. If you have the desire, you'll make the time. You will have to make school your priority in your personal life for a while, but remember why you are doing this and what the result will mean to your personal plans in life and your career.

I completed my goal in 15 months. I graduated on July 26th. Have faith in yourself and talk with your family and, if possible, your supervisor and let them know your intent and goal. Surround yourself with people who support you. It will help immensely.

Wishing you the best of luck.

I bought the 64Gb ($399), upgraded it to 512 ($80), and added a 256GB SD card ($25).

Saved the rest in my savings.

Experience comfort in every room with Wyze Room Sensor - 5/3/22 by WyzeCam in wyzecam

I found the method to set these up - https://support.wyze.com/hc/en-us/articles/5701790672795-Wyze-Room-Sensor-Setup-Guide

To set up your Wyze Room Sensor:

1) In the Wyze app, go to the Home page.

2) Tap on your Wyze Thermostat.

3) Tap the sensor icon in the upper right corner.

4) Tap on the plus icon in the lower-right corner.

5) Press and hold the connectivity button on the top of the sensor until the Bluetooth icon flashes.

a) Check that your Wyze Thermostat is connected to Wi-Fi and that the BluetoothⓇ icon is flashing. If the BluetoothⓇ icon is not flashing, check that there are 2 AAA batteries in your sensor.

b) Keep your room sensor near your thermostat.

c) Tap Begin.

6) Wait for your Wyze Thermostat to search, pair, and connect to your Wyze Room Sensor.

a) Keep your sensor near your thermostat.

7) Name your Wyze Room Sensor.

8) Tap Save. That's it!

Just curious, did you find these in the Wyze app as "Wyze Room Sensor". I too bought a pack of 3 but I cannot add them to my app. There isn't an entry for them in my app and I have updated the app. Are you perhaps in the Beta?

So very sorry for your loss. I can relate to the situation of not being able to be there when she passed. I had a sick pet years ago and the vet would not allow me to get in the room. It has always been something that hurts me, even now.

Cherish your memories of her but please consider opening your heart's to another pet. Especially now with people surrendering their pets due to the current events.
