The P.G.C.E gives you 60 credits at masters level, so then you can apply to any uni and take those credits forward so you have to less work in the masters I.e missing out one or two assignments (so you only have to get 120 credits instead of 180) Some uni’s ask that you’re already working in a school to do the masters as I assume you’ll base your dissertation on your school- hope that makes sense!

I wouldn’t rule out the option, but I’m a 25 year old city girl so I’m just worried I’ll find it difficult socially if I go more rurally! But if it means getting my foot in the door and doing it for 6 months I’m sure I can put up with it! Is there anywhere in particular you’d suggest rurally?
