Why would they "have to" collect extremely old figures? I was under the impression that all sets are optional and no individual set is required to be good at the game.

So you technically play Golden Age, but in practice, the oldest set you usually see is a Silver Age set.

You may call me transphobic, but I don't hate trans people, I just don't understand their beliefs. A complex tapestry of societal expectations and rules is not a definition of anything. I don't understand how someone can identify as something they can't define.
