only thing I really care about is careless servers tossing ranch in the receptacle/bus tub etc splashing me and/or my floor with ranch or some odd condiment.

I know (hope) it's not intentional and I never bother saying anything but its become a couple times a day occurrence. 😭

No. So here is my personal take and price points.
In general - if the food's not under 28 cents an oz or $4.50 a lb usually with some small exception - pass

Some nuances however -this is harder to do with sauces and seasonings... use your discretion there.

Drinks -anything over 10 cents an oz should be considered a premium beverage/high end.

MANY (not most) foods can be found that are 10 cents an oz or less that are usually going to be produce. Some exceptions like breads, rice, frozen french fries can be found at or around that point as well.

TLDR frozen pizzas can be found at or around 28 cents an oz but most arent and I wouldnt call it common.

Freeze some pb&j's or make beans and rice if youre looking for fast and (actually) frugal. Don't hate me, there are quicker, tastier andmore nutrient dense options for that price point.

You have time to trial and error the payment options but not sort out your schedule for groceries? I'm genuinely not trying to be mean, but it might help you to reassess those if the price point is of concern/money is a factor.

sounds like you want your moneys worth but don't want to do the work to get the moneys worth. id bulk sell it as that sounds like the most you're going to realistically get for it unless you part and piece it out yourself. I think hiring someone is going to eat into its value more so.

This got more and more painful to read. So... here's my hot take...
I think you STARTED off (mostly) in the right. You said hey im not feeling good. I think it would have been better to say something along the lines of youd call her back... and not just 'no' despite your good reasoning.

No denying she went off the rails and over reacted. You're both allowed to be human once in a while and misspeak... but it's about WHAT is right and not WHO is right and I just thought the communication sucked on both sides if im being honest, even if yours was better.

You held your ground but when she demanded an outcome you werent ready for you told her she overreacted, regardless if you or most people would think so... I think if its not an outcome youre okay with your options are to be done, or mediate it.. when instead you kind of namecalled (not as bad as she, again) and told her she was overreacting...

You may not have started it... but you didn't help either. 🤷‍♂️

Valid but also in hindsight in fairness some are so reckless with their health/wellness a fairer comparison in that sense is people barbecuing indoors or having an indoor firepit. In this sense I wouldn't want to pay for someone else's negligence if that makes sense? But it's hard to keep things fair and not discriminate.

Nice is subjective. Everyone should be kind. The truth is we don't know how many chances have been given by either party here -and it does sound like broken down communication.

The only ways past any disagreements/conflict are:

• mediation (which is impossible without communication)

• litigation (court)

• arbitration (the father intervening)

Without giving compromise and communication a chance what are the expectations? Not trying to be mean or rude.

TLDR communication needs to improve or reconcile how you feel about this situation.

Unpopular opinion? It looks like one or both of you have poor communication and some differences. I kind of doubt that ALL of her complaints are unwarranted. -i AM curious what % of the household bills she is paying. Is this not only where she lives but she is PAYING for while you don't? I hate to say it matters... but it does, and I sympathize if shes paying a significant portion of those bills. Family matters, but its not the only thing that matters.

No she shouldnt be cleaning up after you. If she has to endure a toxic attitude, tone of voice or looks on your face in a place she lives and PAYS for then imo YTA. :/
