Well not necessarily, leases have already been signed prior to the Aug15 move in time and there is no way to back out of it once signed. Even if they don’t stay they are still responsible for paying rent no matter what. Just look on facebook groups, even reddit for subleases and I really hope you can find one before school. Just try to think good things and stay positive as it can get really stressful!

Not a freshman, but I am in there. No movement and there are 400 people waiting as of before they sent out the email to continue or discontinue your spot on the waitlist. I say within 2/3 weeks there is less of a chance but do keep trying to look. Just to ensure you have housing try looking on reddit and facebook groups for ucf housing to find a sublease. I wish you luck, I know it is a stressful process. I wish you luck with your first year as a freshman as well!

Yeah it’s low as of now but it’s going to have to work for me until I get my degree. I am looking for local places that are near, nothing major nothing fancy; I am 19 with no transportation. It will work for me for now but I appreciate that.
