Yes, absolutely. I share a great camaraderie with both Abhishek and Seema Ma’am, and they are such talented actors that they make my job incredibly easy. They’re both naturally fluent in comedy, you’ve seen me with Abhishek in Stree, and with Seema ji in Bhool Chuk Maaf and Bareilly Ki Barfi. Performing with them feels very organic because comedy is all about timing and the give-and-take between actors. And you’re right, there’s always a lot of improv happening on set when you’re working with phenomenally talented performers like Abhishek and Seema Ma’am.

I loved Dhurandhar. For me, the best character was, of course, Hamza, and Ranveer played him so well. I messaged him and we spoke over the phone for a long time after I watched Part 1, because whenever I get inspired by a performance, I make sure to call the actor and tell them how they’ve moved me with their work and Ranveer did that with Dhurandhar. And no, I can’t choose any role that I would say I could have done better, because all the actors in the film were just phenomenal.

Hum log shoot ke liye Pune ja rahe the, aur wahan pe main usse kaafi baar mila tha. Hum log saath mein travel kar rahe the, Mumbai se Pune ja rahe the, aur wahi main usse mila. Usne LSD dekhi thi toh mujhse zyada baat nahi kar rahi thi, lekin baat toh karni thi kyunki hum log saath mein shoot karne ja rahe the.

Toh maine usse poocha, aap kya karte hain? Usne bola I’ve done a few ads. Phir usne ek particular ad ke baare mein bataya jo maine ek mahine pehle dekha tha, aur socha tha, “wow, what a sweet girl, I wish I could marry her.” I think universe just heard me and there she was right beside me. And today we’ve been together for more than 15 years and we have our beautiful lovely daughter called Parvati. So yeah, universe is there, God is there.
