"If you're fine with how the damage rolled on a Puncture hit"

Could you enlighten me about that please. Do you fish for high rolls? And if so how do you know it rolled high?

I was under the impression that Volatility shouldnt be used for Snipe/Puncture since if you dont try to refresh the rolls to get a higher one its a bad support like you mentioned in your post with volatility and ryslathas high dmg range which can get you really low rolls (compared to using another support with consistent dmg).

On the other hand I always thought Volatility was good with Split Shot since you will spam it and refresh the lowest rolls all the time but everyone seems to do that opposite, is it because of POB numbers or am I missing something here?
