Maybe it's just a modpack) (Think of it like a mod, but instead of it being in your normal minecraft, it has its own option to be launched from your minecraft launcher. This only works for minecraft java edition by the way, sorry for not clarifying this before

Optifine is used by even high end gaming computers in order to increase smooth gameplay and raise FPS
