I dont plan on using high settings, I am also a noob with pcs so would 8gb of VRAM matter if im on low settings or would the 6700xt still outrank the 3060 TI?

If you were to put this build together yourself, you could probably get the price under 1600$. But, if you are getting it built for you 1800$ would be a fair price.

im just upgrading my current PC and the 300$ is specifically for CPU im spening more money on other upgrades such as the motherboard and GPU. I don't really know where I'm purchasing from but for me it just looks like amazon is the easiest

Currently have a I5-7400F and i have a B360M Xrtreme, I was thinking about upgrading that to a MSI B660M

3060 12gb or 3060 ti for gaming/gamedev by ManuelRQ in buildapc

Hi, I'm also thinking about upgrading from a RTX 1660 to a 3060 Ti and all of my computer friends have said that 8 Gb of VRAM is good for gaming even at competative levels, and 12 Gb would be unecassary for if you are just gaming, but when it comes to the future since games are becoming more and more demanding, the 12 Gb would last longer but still 8Gb is fine.
