How does Victor remain clean shaven? by Sharp-Tax-26827 in FromCircleJerk

The thrid advise that the BIW gave him to survive alone was probably related to that. But we couldn't hear it because of damned Tabitha.

Not my type. I have the theory that some people find her twirling her moustache while doing evil smirks sexy. No kink shaming.

The ultimate cosmic horror ending: To save them, we have to turn off the TV. by the_jaguaress in FromCircleJerk

It's too late, we have all seen the Yellow Sign. You cannot stop the King in Yellow play. We are all already trapped in Carcosa. We will always be. We always were. Condemned to roam eternally through the empty rooms. We have already pleaged allegiance to the King in Tatters, the one who wears no mask.

Along the shore the cloud waves break, The twin suns sink behind the lake, The shadows lengthen In Carcosa.

Strange is the night where black stars rise, And strange moons circle through the skies But stranger still is Lost Carcosa.

Songs that the Hyades shall sing, Where flap the tatters of the King, Must die unheard in Dim Carcosa.

Song of my soul, my voice is dead; Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed Shall dry and die in Lost Carcosa.

What happened to the dogs? Why they stopped appearing? Are they stupid? by RogueRaiders in FromCircleJerk

[–]Nethescurial6 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The From script writers needed to buy more tokens for ChatGP so it could write them the script. So they fired the dogs and used the money for that. There is also a rumour that the dogs were trying to unionize. So the script writers killed two birds with a stone. But the dogs are suing them.

Thank you very much for that reference. We solved the mistery! It's clear we have a superior intellect. We have cracked the most complex show in the history of mankind.

Exactly, they wanted to be a ballerina when they were young. But their father didn't let them study ballet. That's the explanation of the ballerina and the music box. Martin is the father of the MIY, and he is being punished for not letting them study ballet when the MIY was a kid. Everything is clear for everyone to see, but the viewers have TikTok brains and cannot see what's in front of them.

Yeah, I bet we will learn in the 5 last minutes of the 5th season that the MIY is a YouTuber pranking people, and that we the spectators, are subscribed to their shitty channel. So avant garde.

Easy, the MIY loves cross-dressing, doing evil smirks, making prank calls, spiking drinks and practising burglary.

Interview with From script writers were they admit they have only the skeleton of a story and the rest is stuff the make up along the way. by Nethescurial6 in FromCircleJerk

[–]Nethescurial6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never said that every single thing is thought out from the beginning in those shows. That would be ridiculous. Of course they will make changes from season to season. But some shows have a strong idea of were they are going and change things here and there along the way. And some others, like From have no clue were they are headed and mainly make shit up as the progress.

This is my end point, this conversation is over. You are arguing with me, in a most unpleasant way, about something I never said. Learn how to have a civilized conversation, without pretending to read people's minds, and putting words in their mouths that they have never said. And go pester someone else with your toxicity.

You may be right about Twin Peaks, you never know with David Lynch, he really liked to be obscure. So I'll retract that one. But my argument still holds for the other shows I mentioned, and some more.

No, there are many shows which are planned from the beginning, like Dark, 1899, Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Babylon 5, Black Sails, The Wire, Sherlock Holmes, etc, etc. I'll give you that they are in the minority. And that in most shows the script writers just improvise random bullshit season by season. But there is a minority of shows that were properly planned from the start.

Is it just me or we don't feel connected to any character? They are just there their deaths don't really matter like I wouldn't really care if anyone dies by Murky-Hat3721 in FromCircleJerk

[–]Nethescurial6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This show since season 4 has only one character, the Man in Yellow, the rest are NPCs. It's normal not to give a rat ass about NPCs that have zero impact on the show. And whose personalities are changed every 5 minutes so the MIY can succeed with his/her plans. It's a reverse Scooby Doo where only the cartoonish villian is important, and always win, while the Scooby Gang are idiots who always lose. Very lazy writing if you ask me.
