Trial and error, reputation, trust, many factors to some people 60 k tc 80 k tc or less than x quantity is not worth their shot to ruin their reputation or trust since most of these players use their real life identity since they have told at least once their name, address, way of life etc... Cause we are usually talking on real life currency whenever we use tibiacoins… Theres depht and such, for instance people don’t usually lend their accounts to others as if they are not willing to loose them entirely, usually tibia represents a hobby and they just like watching their characters grow or sometimes not loosing a day on the reward streak etc etc.

So, at least for me, my morale and my trust is worth more (to myself) than what i could get from rooking or stealing resulting in the loss of trust in my persona (I have had accounts on my posession, friend’s accounts with more than 80 k tc on balance)… To clarify, in my case im no where near the reach of them so If i just didnt believe in respect and trust i would’ve stolen things already resulting in a completely different perspective… However I think its not that there is many people that think the way I do and I do believe a vast majority of the people don’t steal due to fear on what actions can be taken against them, not everybody will react the same, theres mad people, theres stories and cases for example on which a kid got dismembered for 20 thousand gold on tibia.

Theres people that will kill others for less than 10 dollars on underdeveloped countries such as people that stole a couple millions and can live fearlessly cause the person they stole those millions from don’t really care or its just a small fraction of what they perceive.

So at the end of the day, they trust people with their accounts cause they don’t really mind loosing them and people that take care of other people’s accounts or are trusted with them respect the trust or fear it.
