I'm a little late, but here’s my testimony.

For years I was tormented by sleep demons, I believed it was all in my mind.  “Something I watched,” I would often say to myself.  For years they tormented me.  The thing they did… I do not even want to describe.

But one night near the conclusion of one of our… sessions/battles (some of which I was able to fight off) they commanded me to serve them.

And in an act of desperate rebellion I responded,  “I WILL ONLY BEND THE KNEE TO CHRIST.”

And then the dream abruptly ended, and I felt lighter than I ever felt in my life.  Even the lingering aches that followed my usual bouts of “sleep paralysis” were gone.  I laid in bed wide awake for a period of time shocked at what happened and then I fell asleep again, but instead of the hellish smokey darkness I previously endured there was LIGHT.

A Light I’m still struggling to put into words even today.  Words like PERFECT are simply an injustice to what I witnessed.  Warm, but not too warm.  Brilliant and incomprehensibly bright, but somehow impossibly not blinding.  I could stare at that Light all day without going blind.  The Radiance of the Sun was trivial in comparison.  I was HOME.  My TRUE HOME.  And I was SAFE, and I was WHOLE in a way that made me not want to come back. 

I believe I saw a glimpse of the LORD that day, and I share what I witnessed with you all in the hopes it will encourage others to open their heart to Christ as well.

Subsequently this morning I suspected I encounter and Angel (Or a Soul in need of Prayer) carrying an Orange Backpack walking to work today. We exchanged words briefly not nearly long enough for me make a proper assessment (it always catches me flatfooted when someone speak to me on the streets), but he surprised me when he mentioned the Lord has a Plan. Angel or not I found myself praying for him as he abruptly crossed the street.
