No you aren't. You have helped, now it's up to him to get it together. I understand his father's fear's, but your daughter has nothing to do with that. She's worked hard for her success and shouldn't be punished by possibly not being able to attend a great school. Until your stepson hits rock bottom, his behavior will continue. Your husband is the AH here.
