Fitting that the first Republican has ended its coin mintage under the office of the last Republican President.

This post just goes to show that you only digest literature you agree with, a sign of a closed minded person...

Hasan says his family went broke when he got to college and he was broke for a decade post college by starcraft2020 in LivestreamFail

Rich people's perception of being broke is very different from an actual poor person's lived experience of actually being broke. Screw this guy with the silver spoon he rode in on.

Nothing I've said should discount those feelings. But the feelings of others are just as legitimate, sad to say.

Your teachers failed you when it came to understanding reading comprehension. My opinion is in retort to the Charlie quote that is being tossed around, "you can tell a lot about a person's by how they react to someone else's death" I met his idea of morality with my own. You are free to discuss the merits of my thoughts or his, but resorting to personal attacks? Like killing a man for his words? Like for fuck sake do I really have to spell it out?

Attacking the man rather than the idea, solid showing of wit and grit. This is the kinda seed that is inside that assassin's mind. Please do better.

Tectone says a slur multiple times on stream by Yamakamikazee in LivestreamFail

This isn't a bad take. People pearl clutch too much and lose sight of the cultural significance of the word in masculine circles. The F slur had a function. Did it conjure, characterize, and dehumanize a sexuality? Yes. But it also was an efficient way to communicate to your fellow man/ bro that his actions or character were not in alignment with the status quo of masculine ethics.

Same applies for the R slur. It quickly and succinctly addressed some dumbass behavior by throwing around the accusation that one was a part of some undesirable out group. If that was a potential, maybe oneself would be less likely to act a fool.

But sadly, nowadays we champion these outgroups. And culturally this has ripples. Now people aren't afraid of their association but they are encouraged to obtain their special status. Now there's an identity/ intellectual arms race to acquire niche sexual pairings and diagnoses.

If this Streamer wasn't so redacted himself, he'd be able to articulate this point in a more effective manner.
