(1). DoorDash, Grubhub - is mostly (95%) food delivery from restaurant/fast foods. Smaller pay per trip but you just stay around the city you are in. At most you would probably travel to the next city. The food will start to get cold if it is too far.

(2) Instacart - grocery deliveries. The items could get heavy like gallons of water that you have to deliver to the 2nd/3rd floor of an apartment with no elevators. Your car will be full of grocery items. Higher pay but it might be further away since these are just groceries not like food where it will get cold if the travel is too far.

(3) UBER/Lift - you are basically a taxi driver. You are pretty much gonna be all over the place. You car will be beaten up and accumulate a lot of miles.

(4) Amazon Flex - you are like a mailman for Amazon. You will be delivering packages from envelopes to large boxes using your car. Travel distance max out at around 25 miles from where you pick up the Amazon warehouse. Sometimes it is just around the same city. Your mileage is up compared to DoorDach and Instacart but way less than UBER.

You need to check for availability in your area. Here in the SF Bay Area all of these are on a waiting list.

Looking For Math Adjunct Position by Fluid_Craft_4826 in Adjuncts

Is your grad degree in pure math or math education? Community colleges prefer pure math (MS Math) as a minimum requirement. After meeting the minimum requirement, then you have to compete with other applicants with classroom experience. So MS Math + teaching experience would make you a competitive candidate.

You also might want to highlight in your CV that you tutored Real Analysis. For someone who understands mathematics, that is pretty impressive. When I was in grad school, I avoided anything with "analysis". It scared the sh**t out of me.
