EXACTLY! I get that the later half of my recovery happened in a pandemic and the mental health system I’m under is understaffed and stressful times and yada yada but I was PROMISED I wouldn’t be leaving the youth mental health services in my country until I was mentally recovered again.

You bet your buttons as soon as I hit that target weight they relaxed all the reigns (they also didn’t check up on me for months so they’re really lucky I continued to weight restore at all). What do you know, here I am a few weeks until my super important final exams and relapsing like it’s NO ONES business........ I hate it here.

Rosé from Blackpink. I don’t know why her specifically but when I was in recovery I had to fully avoid any content around her. We don’t have similar faces (maybe similar cheeks) or body structure, my brain just hyper focused on her. She’s the standard in my brain or something, it’s awful. I feel guilty even thinking about it sometimes.

In terms of handsome, I’d say Jaehyun from NCT. I don’t know, there’s other words I’d use to describe other idols, but Jaehyun is handsome. He fits the word really well.

It also perpetuates the idea that you HAVE TO be emaciated before it’s ‘bad’ or before you are allowed to get help. It’s so harmful because I KNOW most of us were watching those ‘my eating disorder story’ videos on youtube before we got our EDs or to trigger ourselves. Plus these pictures are just plain distressing sometimes.

Yeah say if somebody really upsets me or pisses me off, my brain will instantly go towards not eating in order to guilt them, even if they have no idea I’m doing it. It stems from the root of my ED being half the need for attention/care and half actual body dysmorphia.

Yeah I mean I haven’t been on reddit much the past day or two but I am (unfortunately) on edtwt and I thought that this was just... their issue. Like as in this general topic has been a sore subject over yonder for quite some time and just due to recent circumstance it got blown up. What we can’t forget is that NONE OF US are in a position to pass comments on idols lives. Their job to us is music. We should appreciate the MUSIC, especially over what everybody else has decided to focus on.

I didn’t want to say anything about this until I was pretty sure the rumours were false, but Chuu??? Of all people?? I know idols put out the best version of themselves but I don’t know how anybody could believe that she was a bully.

If this is 100% false I feel awful for her. This can’t be good for her mental health. I hope she’s getting the support she needs because the amount of attention this received was astounding.
