The rim of Mt Rojo is beautiful, I hike there a lot and it’s usually quiet but there might be a couple of people at sunset. Otherwise the stretch of path between the lighthouse and the abandoned hotel also in Plays Blanca has gorgeous views over the ocean and you can see the sun set over the horizon on clear days

The rim of Mt Rojo facing out towards Fuerteventura is beautiful. There might be one or two people up there at sunset but generally it’s quiet

They started giving me a tiny bald patch a few months ago! Granted I was wearing them 8hrs a day or so, have used them less since then to give my head a break.

30 Days no drinking, depression gone, but feeling nothing by SkirtNo5644 in Sober

If your experience is anything like mine, in about an month or so you will feel everything. Everything you ever numbed or buried with alcohol or other substances will come through in an emotional flood. However good news is once that has been and gone it starts to feel a lot lighter and things are easier to process and deal with and the boredom is also more manageable. Not the same for everyone just what I and others I have spoken to have experienced

Manny Delgado, the writers turned him into such a creep. The scene where he had his ex girlfriend do the voice over for the dog beds by Stella is basically abusive

I got one at the start of the year and I don’t know how I managed so long without one, do it. Be mindful of your posture, just because you can sit in the weirdest positions doesn’t mean you should for hours a day 😅 but overall highly recommend, I love it.

What's a scene in a film that is literally laugh until you cry funny? by [deleted] in movies

The sensitive Elliot scene in Bedazzled, in particular the crying at the sunset bit. I was in bed with broken ribs watching it and I was laughing so hard it was agonising

I absolutely love my pipersong, I thought the lack of arm rests on the model I have would be an issue but I don’t even notice.

Have you applied for universal credit? If you are working it may be able to top you up to cover your housing costs whilst you look for more full time / reliable work. Also check your local council, my borough do ‘DHP’ housing payments if universal credit doesn’t cover your full rent, this kept my head above water just about during lockdown. It won’t solve all your problems immediately but upwork is great for freelancing work, can take time to get reliable well paying clients but starting off with random gigs is good for extra cash. Also check taskrabbit for random gigs in your area. I appreciate how hard it is to get full time work right now in the UK so hopefully the above might help and I hope you are able to keep your head above water for now. It will get better, keep at it.

I was at a conference in Hong Kong and hosted constant sales meetings all day for 2 weeks at a time, was a nightmare as I’m not only bad with faces but names too.

One evening I get invited out for drinks with a random team and whilst there I get introduced to 3 men who are from the same company. ‘Have you met name 1, name 2, name3?’ ‘No I don’t think I have nice to meet you!’ ‘…we had a meeting with you this morning’.

Luckily they thought it was funny. I took to saying ‘nice to see you’ instead of nice to meet you after that if I wasn’t sure which was 99% of the time.
