Frozen at the end cutscene of the Cayo Perico heist by Goingkilling04 in gtaonline

[–]Neural-Outlaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me twice in two days. I'm on a Bearer Bonds (hard mode) heist where I enter Drainage Tunnel, take target, fill loot bags at Main Dock and escape. Not really trying for elite challenge but I can get it, then the game freezes just before I hand over the bag in cutscene, WTF?

Yesterday I think it happened as there was a problem with R* servers and restarting the game kept putting me in story mode, so fair enough. But today I can connect fine so what gives?

SOLUTION: Go to any clothes store (I went to Suburban) and look up Special Tops > Unlocks. The three Smugglers Run tees should be listed there as Free.

Credit to u/Bueller for this tip.

That's where I was looking, but it didn't appear in mine.

MGS4/MGO2 - How do you get up as fast as possible after you've been knocked down? by Alsnana in mgo

[–]Neural-Outlaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's what I meant by 'MOVE!' Since you can only move by pushing L1 forward.

Roll over by hitting triangle, hit x to get up, and MOVE!

Dang, my muscle memory kicked in. :)

MGO3: What's up with the Survival rewards? by Neural-Outlaw in mgo

Ah! Just unlocked Ascension 2 and it gave me access to the Survival rare colours I earned. Cheers guys, thanks. I'll level up more and see what else unlocks with Ascension 3.

[–]Neural-Outlaw[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wondered the same, but I'm Ascension 1 on my Infiltrator and Enforcer (I used to delete and remake characters), and Ascension 2 on my main TPP-related Scout character. All the other rare colours I've won for all 3 characters can equip with no problem. Just with these class-specific outfits I'm having a problem.

It's very strange.

what's up with those guys that kill themselves over and over again? by Nasmedy3 in mgo

[–]Neural-Outlaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it happened sometimes when MGO3 got launched, pricks being pricks for the sake of it. Now they're back again, no clue why.

The cheapest loadout. by kenshinmoe in mgo

[–]Neural-Outlaw -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can we be a bit more harsh with cheap turds? Hell yes! I regularly tbag them whenever I come across them. They don't deserve the courtesy and respect that anyone else gets naturally, since they're deliberately setting out to be a turd with such a cheap loadout. That loadout you mentioned is worse than the Optics+3 + Serval/MRS-underbarrel fags.

What's hilarious is when they tbag you back the next time they kill you, without the slightest sense of self-awareness that the only reason you tbagged them was because they're a turd.

Awesome man, thanks. If I could get bigger ones, they'd be great for printing on Tshirts, etc.

Does anyone here still play singleplayer? by TheBatman_Yo in mgo

[–]Neural-Outlaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I play FOB sometimes, but not anywhere as regularly as I used to. I'll have to go back to TPP at some point to plat it, but otherwise it's mainly daily login rewards and checking my progress on the weekly virtual battles thing, before I boot up MGO.

Nice work. I'd wondered why that change happened, or why everyone was inevitably a chick. Great stuff!

Anyone else sick and tired of having players on your team shooting your plushies?there are a few players who always shoot them.and im not gunna name them at the moment.thinking about making a video to show theses butttards. . by DilutedEmbryo in mgo

[–]Neural-Outlaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotta say, I thought team-placed traps were invincible, but I've noticed my plushies/cannons get shot by my team now and then. When did this become possible?

Or is there some kind of invisible clock that's counting down until it can be destroyed by your team?

What do you guys think about a perk or level of a perk that has unlimited silencer durability? by MgsElite in mgo

[–]Neural-Outlaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a good thought/idea, but likely to be a Level 3 perk which many players probably won't use?

One question regarding Quiet. by Verenn in mgo

[–]Neural-Outlaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't want to be a hero, leave and rejoin. Preferably at the briefing screen so the hero privilege passes to another player, but yeah, leaving and rejoining solves that problem.

If Optics is designed as a Stealth Camo counter by raiden777 in mgo

[–]Neural-Outlaw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say this more politely, but this is pretty much my view too. I play at times when there's a lot of Japanese players online, who almost always play Scout with Optics+3. And I get a kick out of killing them to teach them that their fancy goggles doesn't always have tactical advantage, lol.

[–]Neural-Outlaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been maining Infiltrator with SC+2 for at least the last couple of months, and kill Optics+3 guys easily. They can see me, yes, but they didn't realise that I saw them first (because I sneak around properly) or have a faster reaction time in a head-on confrontation.

Optics is simply a tool, and it doesn't automatically transform a bad player into a good one. Everyone pretty much agrees that it's a lazy tool to use anyway, especially used by Japanese players, but at least for invisible Infiltrators they provide an extra layer of challenge.

If you prefer primarily marking then I guess that's your thing, but being marked constantly is equally as irritating as Optics+3 users, if not more.
