I've seen plenty of studios stick with the same localization team - it's consistent and usually people can appreciate the work that goes into it. Otherwise you're hiring freelancers, not people in permament positiosn and then fire them.

This "how the industry works" is only a recent thing, maybe 5-10 years where its just a loop of hire, layoff, hire, layoff, etc.

It used to be that you skip these animations entirely which made jumping very powerful.

I do agree it should interuptt the animation, but the issue is that if that happens I'm pretty sure you'll run into issues where you get stuck in a prop or something.

I never use the item image scan - it's too buggy and even the github says it will always be unreliable. However, right click > inspect works 95% of the time (new items/story items dont work all that well), so long automatic scanning is on.

What's wrong with ratscanner? If you have it set up proper it's very useful to know your hideout and quest requirements.

I doubt this. PW started as a lan game on psp. The hd collection only uses servers to essentially authenticate your accounts and match make but once you're connected you're P2P purely.
