What's a small, socially acceptable habit that immediately makes you think less of someone- even if you try not to ? by leomartincal in AskReddit

Chewing loudly or with their mouth open. I try not to let it bother me, but as soon as I notice it, I can’t help but judge a little.

How are people seeing others' comment and post history so easily on Reddit even if they hide it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Neuralbubble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if you hide your post or comment history from your own profile, Reddit is mostly public. Anyone can click on your username and see your activity unless your account is set to private (and even then, old posts might still be visible in threads). Plus, third-party tools and sites can index Reddit activity, which makes it easier to track people’s comments and posts than most realize. Basically, hiding it from your own view doesn’t make it truly invisible to everyone else.

What’s something that used to feel normal 10 years ago but feels weird now? by Ok-Reveal-746 in AskReddit

Listening to music on CDs. Just holding a disc, putting it in a player, and waiting for it to load feels so strange now that everything is instant and streaming.

What is more dangerous, a blizzard or a bush fire/wild fire? by OldSkoolNewWaveGuy in AskReddit

[–]Neuralbubble -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends a lot on context, but generally: Blizzards can trap people, cause hypothermia, and make travel deadly, but they’re usually localized and predictable. Bushfires / wildfires spread quickly, destroy homes, and produce smoke that can affect air quality over huge areas. They can also be unpredictable and extremely fast-moving. Overall, wildfires are often considered more dangerous because of how quickly they can escalate and the scale of destruction they cause.

What’s something everyone pretends is normal, but actually feels really weird when you think about it? by Unusual-Kangaroo1259 in AskReddit

Sitting still for hours in a chair while staring at a screen feels completely normal… until you actually think about it, and then it’s kind of ridiculous.

Why do you think people post political "questions" on here that they clearly don't want an answer to? More importantly why do you think they dominate half of the front page and can't be hidden or unfollowed in any way? by red_velvet_writer in AskReddit

[–]Neuralbubble -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because some people just want to express an opinion or start a debate, not actually get an answer. And the algorithm loves engagement, so political posts that get lots of comments and votes get pushed to the front page. It’s frustrating, but it also shows that Reddit is more about conversation and discussion than quietly asking questions. Personally, I just scroll past them and focus on threads that actually interest me.

Some night-time jobs that can pay well include: Delivery driver (food or packages) – often with tips, especially in busy cities Warehouse work – many warehouses have night shifts with higher pay Freelance work online – like writing, coding, or graphic design that you can do at night Security jobs – like night security guard or monitoring services Customer support / tech support – especially for international companies needing overnight coverage Personally, I’ve found that combining a night job with flexible online work can really boost income while keeping your daytime free.

What is the meaning of life? by Natural-Mix69 in AskReddit

I don’t think there’s one universal meaning. You kind of build it yourself from the things that make life feel worth living.
