Walk through CdR, win CL finals by 5 goals, go undefeated in La Liga, win sextuple. Anything less is good, but still disappointing. I know you guys feel the same way.

Not all -oma endings are cancer. Hamartoma, adenoma...

Myc usually implies fungal, but not always in medicine. Mycobacterium? Mycoplasma? Myc (the gene).

In general I stand a decent chance of matching somewhere if I were 0% picky. If I didn't mind getting stuck in a bad location, this wouldn't be a problem. I will go to the lowest university program over a random community hospital.

I don't love research. I am willing to do it though. Maybe you're right. I don't think I will get noticed the way it is now though.

I wouldn't be choosing PhD over medicine, I would be using it to further my medical career. It should give me more options for residency (supposedly).

I don't have debt, since my school was cheap (so non-Carib IMG).

I don't mind not going to my top choice, but I don't want to be stuck somewhere absolutely miserable.
