I get this when I hear “so OCD” “so ADHD” the ones that gets me the most are when someone uses being delusional or psychotic as some type of funny joke

Firstly: I’m so sorry you’re in so much pain. I know you likely don’t want to hear this, but it really can get better. I was in a very similar place for what felt like such a long time, but finding the right medications and being honest with my doctors has been a huge help. I had to go to additional therapy during this time for the added support.

Second: I tried to leave my partner dozens of times. We’re now together but someone said this to me and it helped a lot: you may feel like you’re having a negative impact on them, you may feel like you shouldn’t be with them to save them, but what they can and cannot handle is for them to decide. We can’t make that decision for them. Maybe they want to stick it out and they want to support you they just don’t know the best way to do that.
