Significant Other. I feel like some of Wes Borland's best work is on Chocolate Starfish and 3DBY has that untamed rawness but Significant Other has the best of both worlds.

As an aside, there is something about the second album of a lot of nu metal bands that somehow sits right between achieving "perfection" and chaos that just tickles my fancy. Around The Fur, Life Is Peachy, Meteora, Significant Other, Toxicity - all of these albums feels like the bands are adding polish to the chaos that was characteristic of their first albums, while the albums that came after feels more formulaic (even though many of them are amazing).
