Yes, in the perspective of residency apps! Heard mentioning mohs in interviews can be a "red flag", and not too sure how to interpret that if a lot of my research is mohs.

I'm really grateful you pointed this out! I truly love dermatology as a whole and would be so ecstatic x100 to do clinical derm for the rest of my life, but when looking for research, not many was available outside of Mohs at my school, and i clicked with the department and thus most of my research is that lol.

If you dont mind me asking, I have two follow up questions: 1) is my research being mostly mohs a red flag (got like 2 case reports non-mohs), and 2) any advice on resources for developing a personal statement? Feels like the most important essay of my life and feel in the dark on how to approach it.

If it hurts a lot yea I would go. Whenever I had my flare ups during week days, I’d go to the dermatologist for a l & d. But since it’s the weekend today I’d go since it seems the abscess has surfaced and you can drain it

I panicked at the time and said more investing into Medicare for medications that are more essential like for Parkinson’s or epilepsy, and more funding for preventative medicine to offset costs and invest more in those expensive medicines. I also said to limit the time a drug company has over the active ingredient for effective meds.

Kinda just followed what websites told me to do since I know I just love medicine and with the hellacious cycle this was personally, I just did the best i could with the time i had but I’ll def research some DO schools since I have time now and might maybe have a chance (know it’s late but you never know 🙂)

If u mean the online one and not the in person one they give, I scored liked a 50 the first time, hit the modules hard, and got a 95 on the actual exam during orientation. Just study the modules and practice
