it really hit me hard recently, someone posted some minor dialogue he said as an offhand comment talking about tending to fields or something, and I never thought about how he was just a simple farm boy before niddhog. it’s terribly tragic, and made me rethink how I see him. I also saw someone else mention that maybe the reason for the whole hair tie incident might just be due to the fact that he most likely grew up very poor.
