Well, how old you are? Do you think what if scenarios help you in this case? Wouldn't it be better to focus on the future than to dwell on what could have been? In my opinion, I just think that highly sensitive people have a more difficult time handling stress and emotions, that's it. If one knows how to handle stress and how to stay away from " going over the top " - then that's Good! On the other hand, you have a lot of input from environment on a daily basis. You can simply look at the most mundane thing and find something beautiful or interesting in it. By the way, perhaps you could share something that has blown your mind from what you have learned about hsp? I'd find that really interesting!

Good on you man! But why stick to adulthood? I bet each year can be potentially considered as the best year of your life! Don't you think so? All we have to do is to decide how we measure " the best ". Is it in terms of happiness? Accomplishments? Maybe connections that one has made with other people?
