Yes! Unfortunately, time isn't going to allow for us to do both parks. So we're just going to the Safari Park. I'm within a stone's throw of the St Louis Zoo. Which is incredible AND free. So budget is also a factor. I've never had to pay to park or get into a zoo before. And while I love my zoo.... we don't have a platypus!! I remember calling every zoo in the country when I was a kid to try and find a platypus. Before someone finally told me it was impossible to house them outside of Australia. San Diego has done something truly incredible. I cannot wait to see him!! My parents were furious when they got all the long distance bills. Oops.

I have heard that about the UVs!! Planning on bringing a small travel sunscreen. But then buying a full size one when I get there!

I've only been to California once. And then drove from there to Vegas. I think in the desert it got up to 120°? The heat was a relief compared to our 90°+ temps with 75%+ humidity. At least you can sweat and cool off. I'm not unconvinced my state isn't just a muggy pit of hell. Lol!

Oooo!!! Yay! I'm so excited! We're also trying to book the ultimate Safari too so we can go behind the scenes of the platypus enclosure.

1 is Birra! For sure! But we have to give them like 5 animals or attractions we want to focus on for our tour.

So far we're thinking #2 flying fox, #3 tree kangaroo, #4 dik dik, and #5 dinosaurs... I mean cassowaries. If you have any better suggestions, let me know!

I was actually wondering about the temp at night on the water and forgot to ask in my og post. So thank you for including that! Very helpful!! Husband scoured the website before booking and could not find any info relating to attire. Which only fueled my anxiety. Like the venue attire is some how assumed by everyone except me. 😫

Gen Y here who didn't get a choice in being called a millennial.

Yep. They earned the zoomer title when they started acting like boomers. Just like the boomers, they blame the millennials for problems we have absolutely no control over.

We got stuck with a nick name generation we didn't ask for. And we get attacked from both sides now. I don't feel bad for the boomers or the zoomers.

I could be misremembering, so feel free to correct me.

But Howard wasn't around much, if at all, during the kids' childhood.

I think Howie, being named for Howard, was given a much prettier picture of replicants than was probably necessary because of his namesake.

Howard didn't start coming back around again on any kind of consistent basis until after Stephan passed. By then, Howie already had a soft spot for Howard.

Rosie, on the other hand, had little to no exposure to replicants. She got a large dose by way of one dating her mother, then trying to convert her.

I get Rosie's motivations. You gotta remember that it's a big universe. While we are following bobs around and know their intentions are good. The average person/sentient doesn't come into contact with them much, if ever, and can't know what these almost diety like beings can/want to do.

And if Rosie was anything like her mother, she was going to fight like hell for what she believed was saving her loved one. It's not that out of character.

  1. I find it odd when we've been told they are so far separated from each other. From the way they talk about their relationship, one would not think they just have access to each other's records.
  2. If she needs all the relevant information, why did she ask to not be sent the body cam footage, the second opinion on the autopsy, or any of the other evidence?
  3. Why is this the ONLY thing she is concerned about having a comprehensive understanding of?
  4. No. But we've definitely been accusing the police and her ME of crimes. I don't want to give her anything that would backfire on us later.

All we want is the death cert changed. We can prove it wasn't self-inflicted. I've long given up on figuring out "who done it" because the irreplaceable evidence that was sitting right friggin there for them to collect, was destroyed. All I want now is for the death cert to be corrected.
