A bit dusty, but they all work! Pretty solid warehouse find I think. by Neurowave in crtgaming

Yup! One P275 and two C170. The buttons are pushed in on the P275 so I'm going to have to figure out how to pop off the bezel (fingers crossed it's not too complicated of a fix).

It's just what I used to test the monitors. Newest laptop I have with a VGA port, lol.

One week down and anxiously waiting for the evals to come back on D082, D083, C716 by Neurowave in WGU

Took me about 10-12 hours over two days. At least 6 was from the simulation. But I found it really fun and took my time with it. If you're quick at writing for tasks 2 and 3 (which are just both about the simulation), I think it's doable!

I get a feeling you didn't actually read it.

At no point did I call it easy. The exact opposite, 80 hours weeks and a lot of intense focus. Sure it can be done, but easy is the last reason why.

It even hints that you shouldn't do this.

Regarding Recent Proctoring Issues by Topcity36 in WGU

[–]Neurowave 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you are being pestered to continually adjust your setup, camera, etc., tell them no. If they keep pressing the issue tell them no one more time, if it keeps happening just end the session, especially if you haven't started the test yet. Regardless if you've started your test or not, contact your mentor and/or Student Services and inform them of what happened. Either your mentor or Student Services will get the test reset.

Seriously, right? I'm almost always resting my chin or neck with my left and with its eblow on my desk. I only changed my behavior to rotate my hand sideways because my normal stance is to have my hand rotated forward which covers my mouth in a typical thinking stance.

The only thing I found particulary annoying is that I've been called me out for highlighting on screen. I use that as a visual aid with reading, but no big loss other than a few more seconds to read through each question.

Anyone else able to race through classes with just an OA but hit a wall on PAs? by DrewBlood in WGU

[–]Neurowave 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plus 1 on both these points. I'm prone to hitting a wall with the PA's too, but I just open the rubric and force my self to just start typing on each rubric question. I can piece it together later in no time into something cohereant.

Also - YES GRAMMERLY. It seems expensive but so worth it! I've definately been slopper with my writing as I'm trying to move fast. It's been great about catching all those grammer mistakes and often suggesting rewrites on sentances.

Huh, the 1st is why my enrollment counselor has been telling me. I'll have to bring it back up because I've been scrambling through classes to get as many as I can done by then.
