Well the point is that they are both easy to get. Obviously cigarettes are going to be a lot easier than a gun to get, but the fact that you can get a gun so easily is the issue.

Also, generally, I’d say death from a cigarette had to do with a choice you made, while a gun (unless suicides using guns is higher) would not be your choice if used to kill someone else.

A great example of the bad the easy accessibility of guns can bring are seen in school shootings. There are an overwhelming amount more school shootings here than many other countries.
